Anyway, my favorite LP song of the moment is Shadow Of The Day. I had to say goodbye to some great friends last month (Including CtR... ;_; ), and that song just helps to calm me down...just like the rest of their music.

Yep, still agree that HT was the best album. and I liked reanimation, too, but not all of the songs. I really liked the remixes to papercut, forgotten, one step closer, and a place for my head
I really liked minutes to midnight, but there were a few weak tracks on there. I really loved In Pieces, though. The Little Things Give You Away is great, and No More Sorrow is an adrenaline rush, though its' not too original

has anyone heard their stuff from back when they were Xero? the old singer isn't nearly as good as chester, and the instrumentals need some cleaning up, but shinoda rapped a lot better back then, I think. He actually raps better for Xero than he did for the Fort Minor album (great beats, great guest spots, but hit-and-miss lyricism from Mike Shinoda)

It was SuperXero, then it was Xero, then Linkin Park. they changed it because they replaced their old singer with Chester Bennington. you picked the wrong time to answer that question cuz I mentioned it in the previous post, man

naw, I'm pretty sure that the name was Xero and that the album name was Hybrid Theory. after they switched to Linkin Park, they kept the original album name (hybrid theory) for their first LP. I'm pretty sure anyway. you can look up Xero on youtube if ya want.

Linkin Park have had THREE names

Xero (1996 – 1998)
Hybrid Theory (1999)
Linkin Park (2000- Present)

So basically, Xero was their original name. Sorry RoronoaZolo1134... and Devil Saiyan, you were... kinda wrong =P They changed their name to Hybrid Theory after Xero...

haha, damn!! I wasn't aware of them changin' their band name to hybrid theory. I thought it was only the album....hmmmmm. did they make a lot of songs during that time frame? cuz i've only heard songs from when they were linkin park and songs from when they were Xero (many of which ended up being on linkin park's first album)

U know they probably took the songs from when they where Xero and all the songs from when they Where HT and put them on the HT album

yeah, that sounds about right. i wish they would rerelease their old stuff though. I think that'd be really cool. improve the sound quality and have chester sing instead of the other guy (just forgot the Xero singer's name)
