Same here, Myth.

If I finished the last Harry Potter in a few hours, I probably wouldn't have been able to take in the material/plot as well.

Let's break it down here (assuming it took three hours to finish):

DH = 759 pages.

759 pages/3 hours = 253 pages/hour
253 pages/60 minutes = 4.216 pages/minute

That's pretty ridiculous, and I don't know how you'd be able to enjoy the book in such a little time-frame.

I read it in a week.
I read every chapter slowly so I could enjoy it more.
I didn't want it to end.haha

And i made sure the last few chapters were epic so I locked the door, sat in my favorite chair and read them out loud. <_<

When I read the first four books, I didn't read it as fast as I could, I read it as much as I could, then when Order of The Phoenix came out, I read it in 3 days. Then Half-Blood Prince, at least 2 days. And Deathly Hallows,at least 2 days. I got it the night, four or five days AFTER it came out and read up to ch. 5 or 6. Then finished the book next day. I have to say my favorite was Order of The Phoenix and everything after that although like many HATED the death scenes! Especially the Seventh, but yeah..

I would never have guessed that something like this would ever happen to anyone that has anything to do with the HP movies so unexpectedly. It's just hard for me to believe. And I know he or his character isn't even that crucial to the movies but still.
