I play piano for a little over 2 years now (really hate it but my mom makes me) and saxophone for a little over a year now (in the school band).

My friend gave his acoustic guitar that he bought for $3. The top three strings are steel, the bottom 3 are nylon.

But it'll do me for now. I can't play for shit since I only took it up part-time 2 weeks ago. I'm working on playing Good Riddance by Green Day. I just need to learn how to do chords...

And I sing a bit. Only in the shower or when no one's around. Havn't ever recorded myself but I reckon I sound shit. ^^

I've been playing the piano for about 7-8 years. What sucked is that I was learning a certain style with one teacher, but she had to stop teaching, so I had to start from basically the beginning level of a new style with a new teacher.

Heh, I never practice, so my progress can't be good

I played the piano for 5 years then gave that up because it got boring and now I've been playing the flute for a year and a half.

I play the violin. I've been playing it for the past... wait let me count. *uses her fingers to count* 7 or 8 years. I started at the age of 13 and now I'm 20 almost 21. so yeah. I'm an old one. :p

oh, and I also played in the percussion section for a year. which means I got to play the bells, the cymbals, the marimba, xylophone, vibraphone, and the timpani. mostly the timpani. :D

I've been playing guitar for about 8-9 years now (6 string, 7 string, 12 string -- that includes double neck).

I've played violin about ten and bass guitar about six.

I play French Horn and Clarinet as well.

I have been doing turntables for about 7 years.

Also, played percussion for awhile (still do)

I also do vocals.

I can't really play an instrument. I used to play piano, but I got tired of that. Then I tried to play violin and nearly killed myself because I cut the strings (somehow). So now I just do vocals, and I'm not too bad since I've practiced a lot. I just can't hit high notes; my voice is too deep to be strained like that.
