I love Family Guy. It makes me laugh big time. I've watched most of the series.

The only thing that you need to know really is what they're referencing, the same goes for robot chicken.

Ahh thank you! :3

Anyways, i would have to agree with Staulmaster in saying that quite a few Family Guy jokes are based on other aspects of pop culture. That's probably a reason why some people don't like it; because they haven't seen or just don't get half the stuff they're referencing.

Sorry if I was just repeating what was already said :3

No duh thats what i said. But just knowing the person doesnt mean you still get the joke. Family Guy does have pretty good jokes but asa i said the show has been overshown. It isnt overrate it is just being showed too much. It has followed the Simpsons in my mind. Cause i even got bored with the Simpsons because that was coming on every night for awhile.

That doesn't necessarily mean the jokes are well thought out, is what I meant to say. Making obscure references isn't very hard, but it certainly is easy when you don't have to worry about continuity, character development, plot development, wit, tact, coherence, or any connection with the actual plotline. Family Guy, much like Robot Chicken, is a plethora of pop culture references condensed into one 22 minute program. The only difference between the two is that Robot Chicken has no plot. Of course, the same could be said of Family Guy...

I enjoy family guy. I understand about 90% of the jokes, and find most of them funny. But after watching this show every night it does lose it's effect.

only some ppl understand about 90 percent of FG's jokes. You just really have to know some backgru=ound on Music, shows, pop culture etc. because they really pull out some 70's stuff iv'e only seen from some of my moms video tapes

Mine is when Chris goes on a date and gets really nervous and they show a toy commercial. Stewies reaction is hilarious! And the Star Wars one.

YouTube - Family Guy - Singing "Don't Stop Believin" - Slide Show

Best family guy song ever, but sadly, the video is not present.

the best episode is when joe can walk. The Jack Black joke is funny and the fight at the end is awesome.

You're retarded. Family Guy wasn't created by Matt Groening. It was created by Seth MacFarlane. Every Family Guy fan knows that.

It even says "Created by Seth MacFarlane" in bold, blue letters during the opening theme.

The problem with this show aside from being too political and sometimes just plain retarded is that it can't go on forever. It'll die.

Just like the Simpsons did.
