| Rest Now My Friend... | As Violent_Anger pointed out. The Green Goblin can be brought back. In the comic, he awakens in the morg goes into hiding. However during the whole Clone Saga he reappears. (meaning around the time of Scarlet Spidey & SpiderCarnage) which leads to Scarlet Spidey's death as he jumps in the way of Osborn's glider in an effort to save Spiderman and turns immediately into ashes. But again they'd have to find some other way of bringing Norman back considering in the comic he wakes up in the morg and in the movies he's obviously been buried 6 feet under. On the Subject of Carnage being in the next movie. I honestly don't think Carnage can work in the story unless Venom somehow survived the 3rd movie. You cannot have Carnage without Venom, considering they're both intertwined. It's both Spiderman & Venom teamed together who stop Carnage not just Spiderman. Lacking one without the other would just make for a weaker story and dialog considering the words spoken between Carnage & Venom to one another is always enjoyable and hilarious. Also the Sinster Six would be hard to pull off considering 2 of the big faces within such an organization aren't around anymore. I mean Sandman could join, but considering his demeanor in the movies is much different from that in the comic I find that highly unlikely and also Doc Ock is dead, he drowned you can't bring him back end of story. I'd personally like to see Scorpion in one of the movies, considering he's much faster & stronger than Spiderman, plus the whole hating Jameson thing. Unless the villians in the movie actually make sense i hope they don't go in the angle of Spiderman 3 having more than 1. Spiderman 3 would have worked much better if it had focused much more on the symbiote and perhaps have Peter lose the symbiote at the end of the movie and have an image of Eddie gaining it as he did in 3. The Story would have been much better and Carnage being introduced in 4 would make much more sense(if he's in it at all). Also I'd love to see the Six Arm/Man-Spider saga. Hell I'd also love to see Shocker in a movie, they completely screwed over his character in the Ultimate universe, I say bring back the 90's animated series version. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | I have an alternate version to my previous villain line up: 1-Green Goblin 2-Doc Ock 3-New Goblin, Sandman, Venom 4-Kraven, Lizard 5-Scorpion 6-Electro, Mysterio A lot of people made good points so this is my revised version. Rep Power: 10 ![]() ![]() | Carnage would be easy to introduce, Doc Conners could just drop the lab sample of the symbiote in the streets or something, and it slithers away to the serial killer guy. Green Goblin's formula gave him super healing powers. Kinda like with wolverine, Osborn can come back to life after being killed. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | I guess it is possible for Green Goblin and/or Doc Ock to come back, but I doubt they'd do it. There are too many other villains yet to be used. And as Raimi showed in SP3 with Sandman, he can use more of an unknown (let's face it, he's not the most popular) and make them incredibly awsome. @violent_anger: I guess the whole Carnage story could work like that. I actually think they'll use Carnage for the Venom spin-off. Any body got any ideas on this movie? |

| VOTE FOR HOKAGE | The first was amazing, the second was mediocre. I loved the 3rd one. Mainly because Venom is the man. I want morezzz. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | I agree! Venom is awsome! Topher Grace was great as Eddie Brock. Which brings up my next question: Who thinks/wants Topher Grace to reprise his role in the Venom spin off movie? If he should go, who'd replace him? |

HAHAHAHA. HAHAHA. HAHA. HAH. The third movie sucked. "oooh venom" is not a redeeming factor. Spider-Man 3's greatest aspect was New Goblin. That's it. Spider-Man 2 is inarguably the greatest movie of the trilogy. It was even in contention for an Academy Award Best Picture nomination.

I agree, Harry made an awsome New Goblin! James Franco pulled it off well, and I like how they designed the character. And Venom was cool. They gave him a great design, good origin story, and Topher Grace wasn't bad either (He seemed a lot like Ultimate Eddie Brock to me, which is alright). Spider-Man 2 is the best in the trilogy, but that doesn't mean the third movie sucked! All three movies are great! And as if I have to repeat myself again, THIS IS NOT A THREAD TO SAY HOW YOU HATE MOVIE 3!!! iT'S TO TALK ABOUT THE STORY SO FAR AND WHERE IT CAN GO IN THE FUTURE. iF SOMEONE LIKES A PARTICULAR CHARACTER, THEN GOOD FOR THEM; KEEP ALL NEGATIVE COMMENTS TO YOURSELF. NO ONE WANTS TO READ THEM.

Which is a shame because I like Topher. But it's okay, because even Tobey Maguire and Kirstin Dunst were pretty bad in Spider-Man 3. Venom was basically Spider-Man 3's undoing. He ruined the movie. Take him out, leave Sandman and New Goblin in and we would have had a decent plot. It was just too much. The origin sucked and it was just out of place. Venom may have been better in a movie where he was the sole focus of the story, but he just did not fit the movie. There was no explanation for the manifestation of Venom on Eddie. The design sucked, and made no sense. Also, that squeal it let out was just pathetic. Quote:
Spider-Man 2 at 93% Spider-Man 3 got 62% Wow, that's a big decrease. It sucked. But what you're not getting is that it's good to make negative comments. Feedback like this is necessary. Everyone was really well responsive over Spider-Man 1 and 2, and that's deserved. There's no need to lie about 3 because the harsher we are, the more Hollywood will take in that they did wrong, and therefore we benefit because they won't screw up like this again. Don't try and defend what shouldn't be defended. You made this thread to discuss the Spider-Man movies. Well we are. Spider-Man 3 came out last, and is the most recent. The one most easily to talk about. And it sucked. Everyone basically agreed so on the first page, and discussed it so obviously they don't mind.

| I believe in a free Narnia | I would say that spm3 was the lowest of the 3. but I don't think it was that the fact eh the movie itself sucked. it was way too busy, they tried cramming way too much. 3 different enemies with their own plolts notto mention black suit psirder man, and alove triangle with evil peter parker not being able to propose to MJ. they tried to put way to much into the movie. so that deteracted form the overall quality. individual scenes were great but they shouldn't have been combined. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | @TwighlightMan and Gildragon: THANK YOU! that's exactly what i've been trying to say. Could SP3 been better? YES! Should Venom have been held off until SP4? YES! Can we do anything about these facts? NO! @Johnny Stooge: Do you honestly think Sony/Columbia/Marvel checks sites like this to see what fans think? NO! They know the mistakes of Spider-Man 3, and seem to be correcting them (ex. limiting the villains to two). And I made this thread to discuss future film ideas mostly. I'd really like to know your ideas on the new trilogy. I wanna know what everyone thinks. |
