Default Official Transformers Discussion Thread

Here, we can talk about the Transformers universe. Anything from the comics, tv series, toy lines, films, video games, and anything else. And, just to add, there are two Transformers sequels in the works. The first sequel is planned for June 26, 2009, and filming for it will begin June 2, 2008. Transformers: Animated is a great series, and I can't wait for the next episode. The movie was awesome and is currently airing on Cine-Max.

Well, discuss away.

Transformers Movie Sequel: The Reign of Starscream - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bought it the other day. It shows what happens to Barricade, but the first issue is mainly spent covering the final battle in Key City, at the end of the issue Starscream heads back to the Hoover Dam to find Frenzy so he can get all the information Frenzy gathered.

I believe I caught the first episode years ago. It was a holiday though, and most of the time my school schedule didn't allow to me see it.

I've not heard many good things about it, though.

Drove into a concrete pylon while trying to take on Ironhide. He was damaged pretty badly, but when Starscream went to check up on him he said all he needed was a little time to recharge his energon and he'd be fine.

I could never get into the animated series but the movie was sick. I was so glad Michael Bay directed it, he's the master of destruction and excitement (The Island, The Rock). They better do their homework and make a good plot for the sequel though.

I'm assuming that Starscream is just going to collect the data stored in his body. Starscream himself stated that out of all the Decepticons that came to Earth, only two survived. One being himself and the other Barricade.

Art is fine. Typical transformer style art. But the writing could improve, I'm hoping it'll pick up afterwards, though.

The animated series is pretty kiddish but its still good I guess and its understandable and you dont have to watch every single episode to get what is happening.
