You guys forgot to mention David West. He averaged 20 and 8 in the regular season.

Yes, that is true.

Meh, me too. I think it's kind of pointless for us to be debating like this because who knows, Lebron might sneak up and win MVP.

Yes, but, if you havn't noticed. In this past season, His scoring, rebounding, assists, and blocks are all Career Highs. Thanks to a little someone. Well, the scoring is mainly because of Chris but the others are because of him. But, Chris Paul has brought confidence to his team, etc. blah blah and so on.

Chris Paul should win MVP no matter what. If you take either Kobe or Paul off their respected teams they wouldnt be how they are now but with no Paul i doubt the Hornets would have even come close to the playoffs. Lackers without Kobe and with Gasol and Odem would have slipped inot the playoffs. MVP stands for Most Valuable Player. In my mind Paul was just the pilliar that kept that team alive for this season. Paul deserves the MVP but watch i think Kobe will get it cause he did average higher in scoring.

And ha i knew it Detriot would return to form. And wathc Boston is going to be the major upset and not Detriot. Also Suns are done.

Suns had the chance to win the game or send it into overtime but Nash just had to turnover the ball. :/

Well, LeBron missed the game winning shot so it goes to Game 6 In Washington, which doesn't really matter to me because even if they did win, they'd still have to wait for the Boston - Hawks series. So, it's a win situation for me. More Playoff games.

Boston just killed the Hawks a few minutes ago 110 - 85. Perhaps not an upset? Game 7 would be nice...

Yeah but can Boston win outside of Boston. So far in the series they have answered that question with a no. So if they can actually win in Atlanta my confidence in them as a contender championship team will be restored.

Well, we'll find out tomorrow. I personally think that they'll rout the Hawks tomorrow, but that's just me.

Pistons killed the 76ers so they'll play the Magic on Saturday, I say Pistons win in 6. Just because of the Dwight - Rasheed Matchup. Howard will either get Rasheed in foul trouble alot, or he'll completely dominate inside the paint. It should be a decent series.

Cavs will close out the Wizards tomorrow I hope. :/ If LeBron James doesn't miss the last second buzzer beater like Game 5... *cough*CURSE U CARON!! cough*

As for the Rockets - Utah Matchup. I honestly want Rockets to win just because McGrady is one of my favorite players, but I think Utah will win. Game 7 would always be nice though.

Well finally we can now say that there most likely wont be an upset in Detriot. Of course they are not out of it yet but i think the series will end in game 6.

LeBron i think needs to stop complaining about something in game 5 and just go out there in game 6 and do what he is best at. I kept hearing how he was whining about getting punched anad it was a missed foul call. When all is said and done he still lost and if you want to win you need to overcome those stupid missed calls.

LeBron closed out the series so that's all good.

Sadly... The Celtics... lost... If they lose game 7 that's just sad... Home Court advantage should give them an extra boost but, if there is an upset... That's just gonna be ghey

Right now, Utah's leading by 9 with 3:27 left in the 2nd quarter. Tracy McGrady's already got 24 points. :D Who knows, possibile comeback in the 2nd half would be nice...

FF, hate to break it to ya man but.. Detroit's gonna beat'em ;P

i think phoinex is going to get rid of Mike Dantoni just like dallas got rid of Avery Johnson, what do you all think?
the votes came in and espn just said that the mvp is Kobe Bryant according to the reporters
i thought that the mvp should have gone to Chris paul because Kobe lost in the first round for 2 seasons straight, now Pau Gasole comes in and they start to win so shouldnt Gasole get it instead?

Yeah, Lakers may have won but Kobe doesn't deserve the MVP. That goes to Chris Paul.
I told you Kobe would win MVP this year.

Yeah but he shoudlnt have. Chris Paul was the better player in my mind. Kobe won MVP but that doesnt mean he was the best player thi year. Just means that he got alot more attention. Most MVP awards today dont go to the Most Valuable Player it just goes to who put up the best numbers.

If it was best Individual, then CP3 or LeBron(probably James) would of gotten it. But sadly... "Kobe" had to get it. T_T I'm not happy.... I'm hoping the Jazz Kick his ass tonight...

Yes, I am a sore loser ;P

Dude....all he did this year that was average more assists than Kobe and got some triple-doubles a number of times. To get MVP, you have to do a lot more than that.

In everything else, Kobe did greatly better in.

or LeBron
LeBron only averaged Kobe out in Rebounds by 1.6

He also only averaged Kobe out in Points by 1.7

In everything else, Kobe did greatly better in. Let's drop this now. Kobe won MVP fair and square and deserved it too.
