Non playoff news: Bucs signed Scott Skiles.

Lol.

>_>

Bulls shout get Jeff Van Gundy.

I hope Paxson doesn't start coaching...it'll turn into another Isiah Thomas team.
I have a strange feeling Scottie will the new coach.

The 76ers will beat the Pistons. That will be the biggest upset in the Playoffs this year. I'm calling that now.

We can pretty much call it a season for The Rockets. A stupid foul call on a shot that could've tied the game screwed Houston. The Jazz lead the series 2-0, and the next two games are in Utah. Houston's had a good run, but it's over now. Rafer Alston won't help things. Even if by some miracle Yao Ming were cleared, it still wouldn't be enough.

Houston wasnt going to make it to the finals anyway. Other teams have that big man in the middle which Houston is lacking. Without Yao i dont think they can go far in the playoffs ever. Unless everyone on that team gets so hot that every shot drops then its done.

Yeah, but that's clearly impossible. There are much better shooting teams in the Playoffs who wouldn't be able to drop almost anything. Neither LeBron or Kobe can drop any shots, and they are by far the most superior shooters in the NBA

^Well no duh thats the reason i can an impossible situation. You need a big man in the playoffs and without Yao Houston just doesnt have what it takes. This isnt the regular season. You are going up against teams that are good night in and night out. They are watching everything you do in the playoffs analysising everything. Without that bigman you just cant establish a inside man. So Jazz know this so they are going to make Houston take shots out high.

So surprise surpriseDetriot went out in game 2 and held their own against that number 7 team.

i'm still expecting a Game 3 win for my 76ers. Hoping they can pull out a few wins at home before the series returns to the Hills.

I was very surprised with the Houston win, especially against Utah at home.

BIG NEWS: Tyler Hansbrough stays in UNC for one more year while Wayne Ellington and Ty Lawson test the NBA Draft.

Lawson and Ellington didn't hire agents yet, so they could return to NCAAbefore the Draft.

ESPN - Hansbrough returning to UNC; Ellington, Lawson enter draft - NBA

Mav's Josh Howard also admitted to smoking marijuana in the off-season, claiming it has had no affect on his play.

no URL link as of now.

Anyone else think this news could affect the Mavericks, especially since it's coming out before a home game?

I dont think it really matters cause i bet there are alot of players that do the same and dont admit it.

Also i am not really surprised about Hansbrough. I was pretty much thinking he would definatly return when they didnt get the championship.

Finally i doubt the 76ers will win the series but i think whoever wins game 3 will wins the series. Cause Game 3 will either show us that 76ers are competitors or that Detriot just had a relapse in game 1.

Well, I guess Sixers might win the series, because they blew out Detroit 95-75 and won Game 3. Frozen Fate may be right. Detroit might get knocked out of the first round. The Pistons better get their act together. And here people thought they could go against The Boston Celtics. If you're getting blown out by a team you're supposed to be blowing out, what chance do you have against the top team in the NBA?

Also, Mavs beat The Hornets up bad in Dallas. Although it was a 10-point win, they really gave it to them which is more than I can say for My Suns. Suns are down 0-3 in the series. I knew this Shaq trade was a bad idea. If Phoenix can't win on their own home floor, they're done. They have to win 4 games in a row against The Spurs. I still have faith, but how can they win 4 straight if they can't stop Ginobli and Parker from getting uncontested lay-ups.

I thought the fact that Howard admitted it somewhat randomly on ESPN Radio just hours before a game would have hurt the Mavs mentally with all the publicity that was on ESPN yesterday. Did anyone watch it to see how much Howard played?

The 76ers will win that series. Their transition play has been helping them along the line SO much. 29 points off turnovers and 40 in the paint against a team that is one of the best defensive teams in the league. They are competing at a high level. The play of Samuel Dalembert and the young players is phenomenal. The only player I'm concerned with is Andre Igoudala. Only 30 points in 3 games is horrible for him. His play will impact the 76ers highly when he returns from this little playoff slump he's in.

I wont say the 76ers will win until they actually win. I will say Detriot will get their act together and win this in 6. Detriot is a good team and if they play like they should then the 76ers should be packing their bags.

Suns are done. They should have never made the trade for shaq. He is washed up. You already have a really good big guy so why go out and get a old, injury prone, player who is done. Spurs are my favorite team here and onto the next round they will head.

Kinda contradicting, are we not? You shouldn't say Detroit will win if you're saying the 76ers won't win until they actually win.

But I agree with you about the Suns, they are done and should have never have gotten Shaq, he hasn't improved since being traded. Lakers, who are currently leading by 8, will dominate the Nuggets are will also advance. Then, they'll take down Utah in the Semi-Finals, then the Hornets (Yes, I think Hornets will beat Spurs) in the Western Finals, then they'll win the Finals against Boston. Kobe will be MVP and be the next MJ, even though I kinda don't like calling him that.

Detroit will lose.

I'm hoping for a miracle in Phoenix. I LOATHE the Spurs, except Finley and Ginobili.

Lakers and Hawks won today. And Utah is currently leading against Houston. I hope Houston wins, so they can show that they don't always need Yao.
