Well shit, they really didn't need to make a new Hulk, did they? This one looks godawful, and the first one worked just fine.

Although, I do like Ed Norton :\

No, it really wasn't. Pacing was shit, story was shit, dialogue was shit and special effects were shit.
The storyline was only deep on face value. I could write a rundown of the movie and it would seem really deep, but the way the whole thing was executed was terrible. They introduce a cure, and the one character that takes the option of the cure is only shown for maybe ten minutes in the movie. With absolutely no character development for her whatsoever.

Can't see why everyone hated it.
Only thing was that the dialogue was horrible, other than that, I enjoyed it.
Well that's a reason right there.
X2 was infinitely superior to The Last Stand. Go back and watch it if you need convincing.

The biggest piece of bullshit in The Last Stand was the replacement of Cyclops. I get that James Marsden has shooting conflicts because he was in Australia for Superman Returns, but in X2 they clearly explained that Jean had made her choice. She wanted to be with Scott and not Wolverine. And to have her "kill him" and tamper with one of comics most loved storylines is bullshit.
Then there's the issue of Wolverine killing her, anyway. There are literally hundreds of cure syringes lying around the place, and the only way to help Jean is kill her? Take away her powers and Phoenix is nothing. Not to mention that Phoenix was created by her powers anyway.

Thinking about seeing the movie tonight, if not Speed Racer.

A critic, who's name escapes me, said The Incredible Hulk is just as great as Iron Man.

Hopefully me and my cousin and his friends can go see it tomorrow. Looks fantastic.

As if any of the Marvel Movies do.

Riddle me this? Why do they have Tony Stark in it? Last I checked, Stark is Iron Man after all.

I'll give you that one. That really did piss me off.

Saw it last night. Hulk done right.

I think hollywood is starting to figure Comic book movies out.
Just stick to the system and the movie will be fine.

Thats 2 for 2 so far on the super hero front this year. Next is Dark Knight.

Thats just because Marvel has control over these movies.

Yeah I agree, it was an awesome movie. Possibly better than Iron Man =x

Did I say that? :-p

Anyway... straight movie... (just dont stay after the credits... the cameo appearance comes at the end of the movie... not after the credits)

Relax man, I guess I took the quote out of context. The comment wasn't made to be insulting anyway.

So based on what you guys said, is it worth the money to go see it?

Ugh, the Hulk film from a few years ago was just not good at all.

This one looks somewhat better, although I'm seeing mixed opinions from the critics. I'll watch this just because it's a Marvel film and something to watch this summer.

Just saw it last night. To be honest, I never saw the last Hulk movie. I heard it was bad so I just never bothered, so I didn't have that to compare it to. On it's on merit, however, I thought it was excellent. I wouldn't say it was as good as Iron Man, but it was pretty close.

This really is The Hulk done right, I would say. I heard one of the criticisms of the last movie was that there was too much Banner, not enough Hulk. They definitely fixed that in this one. I didn't feel like there was so much Banner that I got bored and wanted to see The Hulk, but there wasn't so much Hulk that it degenerated into standard mindless action movie fare. Really good mix there.

Though I am an avid comic reader, I've never picked up The Hulk, so I know precious little about the Abomination/Emil Blonsky. No idea how his character stacks up against the comic version. I will say he was definitely a strong villain. Tim Roth did an AMAZING job on playing him. And William Hurt made one badass Thunderbolt Ross.

I loved it. I hope that anyone who thought the last Hulk movies was shitty will still give this one a shot, because I don't think anyone will be disappointed. Marvel is really on top of their game this summer.
Don't bother to stay for the credits, by the way, unless you like that sort've thing. There is nothing to see. Unlike Iron Man, they put the Avengers' setup right at the very end of the movie, before the credits. And it was GENIUS!
It wasn't that bad. I liked it. It was just a more intelligent and emotional movie, instead of your typical superhero/action movie.

I still feel Sam Elliot was better. D:

So I just saw. I honestly expected this to be quite poor. I liked Transporter for the over the top action, but the story was nothing special, so I didn't expect much from the director. But he seems he has a real soft spot for the Hulk, the tv series in particular since that's where most of the referances are drawn from. When I heard Zak Penn wrote the script, I was also quite fearful since he masterminded The Last Stand (he had some help from Simon Kinberg here) and Elektra.
But then I heard Ed Norton rewrote a lot of the dialogue and motivations, so that was a step up (he was submitted to the Writers Guild, but they chose Penn since he mapped out the story).
Ed Norton also makes a perfect Banner and Liv Tyler is a hot Betty.

But yeah, the movie was far better than I expected and I'm thoroughly impressed.
I also liked the future referances. Betty's boyfriend was Doc Samson, a superhero himself and Samuel Sterns becomes the Leader (this was witnessed in the movie).

Just saw this movie today. BEST SUPERHERO MOVIE EVER.

Ed Norton was an excellent Bruce Banner and the references and homages to the old show were good.

Liv Tyler was a hot and truly better Betty.

This movie is BEAUTIFUL AND is a MILLION TIMES better than Iron Man, which was an excellent movie.

Stan Lee's cameo could have been better.
