Most people nowadays go through the stage in their middle school years where they love Linkin Park.
Give her a break guys. It's a natural part of growing up. Don't ruin it for her.

Coincidentally enough, I went through that a few years ago. :P I admit to listening to LP very rarely now. I only like 1 song from Minutes To Midnight and I also like Hybrid Theory and Meteora. I haven't bothered to listen to the 4th album.

Their fourth album sounds like they decided to enter their recording studio high. I can understand a band (and artists) wants to improve/move away from certain images/genres, but come on. Stick to your roots people. Their best album was definitely Meteora. I used to be majorly in love with them, but I've moved on. Meteora was my favorite, and Hybrid Theory wasn't bad either. I liked some songs on Minutes to Midnight, but my friend told me their more recent stuff is not so awesome. I still love them to death, I just don't listen to them as much as I used to because I feel like they're everywhere now. Well....that and because I fell in love with Silverstein.....

The peak of their creativity was Reanimation. The collaborations were beautiful. Powerful messages and much emotion.
T'was the simpler days where I loved Linkin Park. Those nostalgic times are long behind me, but there will still be a nook somewhere in my heart for LP.
...but there's only room for Hybrid Theory, Meteora, and Reanimation. Nothing more.
