The only people who think music is dying are people who never listened to music to begin with or are to pretentious to even try listening to modern music.

lol even as a rap listener i find this in poor taste. if i want real hip hop i go underground because that is where its at.
The bonk i blame the radio for this they don't have the decency to look up good artist and help promote real songs all they they is post trash that people are tired of hearing.
hell even eminem made a song to describe this event, its called syllables look it up and it actually speaks the truth
I have Trypophobia and now you do too. :) your welcome
Oh true. I wonder why I always thought that. I suppose though seeing he does generally write about similar themes.
Music isn't dead; if anything, it's entering a great area. Sharing music on the internet is allowing people that would never get a record released to have a chance at showing off their talent. However, due to this, there is an equal/greater number of people releasing shit, and seeing as how most people like to gather around and hate on something that's bad, rather than discuss something that is good, "bad" music is getting more recognition right now.
Mainstream's never really been good, but it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. There's some decent stuff out there, but, like it has been for a long time, it's few and far between.

Music isn't dead, quality is. Music was about entertaining the audience, now it's about making profit. Sure, you need to make a living, but past artists made a living by entertaining their audience.
Maybe it's just me, or Society's too attached to "RANT RELIGION RANT" and "SEX SEX SEX". `.`
