Rep Power: 10 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | How do I open a shop? Easy. Just post a thread here. You're allowed to sell anything and everything that is able to be traded in the Inferno. Components, Weapons, Armor, etc. How do I sell my items? The RPG Team would suggest for the seller and the buyer to arrange a time and place to meet in the Inferno and use the "Bazaar" to trade items for cash. Can I 'bump' my shop? No. No "bumping" (Posting in the thread after long periods of inactivity where you were the last one to post...) is going to be allowed here. You're free to advertise your shop in your signature or in the Inferno itself. If you spam advertisements in the Inferno shoutboxes however you will be in big trouble. What if I just want to sell one item? Selling and buying single items is welcomed in the Inferno. Please keep all single requests to the 'Item Request' Sticky in this section. Post what you're looking for, or maybe an offer, and complete it there without making a thread and pushing shop threads down lower and lower. Hey maybe I can make a Black Market thread and sell things like keyitems and stuff to help people che... I mean play the game more strategically! I'd advise against this for two reasons. One being that you never are simply 'given' a keyitem and ONLY need that keyitem to continue. So simply having said item won't help you out. Plus, if you're selling things that would in theory help people skip sections of the game, you're going to find yourself in a myriad of trouble and bad things. Don't even think about doing this. Selling items that are used in fetch quests (i.e. get me x number of y items!) is perfectly allowed. Why? You can simply farm them out, so it's okay to pay others for the items and circumvent those farming times. Keep all of these kinds of requests in the Item Request thread unless there is a Shop dedicated to farming for others. But Raeneth, what about some General Rules to keep us kids in line? Alright, fine. Here you go:
If you do good business, you'll be more respected and become the first place people will look to purchase things. |
