Hearts of Twilight: Shattered Regret

Well, you won't need to know what happened in the original, but you might want to read it anyway, only for added knowledge. This is a sequel.

Prologue

The night was young. Sounds of clanking swords were echoing throughout the land. Slight glimmers of light were visible in the vast darkness. Grunts and growls were occurring almost every second, heard barely through the metallic bangs.

Two young men, from the looks of it in their 20's, were engaging in head to head combat. One of them was King Stalgamin Vinco Shea, the King of Light. He was in solid gold armor all along his torso, arms, and legs. He had long, wavy blond hair, with a red band tied around his head. He had gloves covering his hands, and red boots overlapping his calves.

Stalgamin had a large sword in his hands. It had his full name engraved on the solid gold blade.

The other name was known as the 'King of Darkness'. He was once a master of Twilight, but a grave incidence occurred, where a dear friend of his was assassinated, as she had saved him from certain death. His hair, once a bright red, is now an icy silver due to to icy effects on people. He has jet black armor all along his torso, arms, legs, hands, and feet. A mask was covering his face, as only his hair was showing, dangling to the mid back.

The King of Darkness's blade was broad and long as well, made out of hardened shadows The engraving on this blade was hard to decipher, as the swordsmanship is too swift.

Stalgamin held his arm to the sky, summoning a large ball of light energy. The night sky brightened instantly, giving his warriors an advantage.

The King of Darkness ripped off his mask, revealing his face. It was severally scarred up. He said, "So, you think you are the one who shall save us all? Well, no one can beat I, Xonic Cryoliz."

Very interesting. I like the descriptions! Though i'm sure i'd have to read the first one to understand this one, am i right?

Somewhat. Flashbacks will be given throughout the FanFiction.

Just for you all to know, in case you haven't read the original, Xonic is now theantagonist. It has been revealed once in the original, but for those who read it, do you know which point it was revealed the most?

Draco will be very important.He won't be re-introduced for a few chapters, thoguh. Expect him within Chapters 3-5.

Thanks, Silver Star. It's amazing what happens when you don't sleep as in in English class in Freshman year. XD
