Rep Power: 11 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Okay, better rules this time. Hopefully, these won't be as literacy based as the last ones were. These are just the basic rules! o1. No inappropriate content. This means nothing past kissing in romance sort of things, mature content, etc. Yaoi and yuri is allowed, but only if there is no mature content in it. If you have something with mature content in it and do post it, your topic will be deleted immediately and you will be warned. o2. Language is allowed. Unlike the rest of the forums, language IS allowed here, to a point. But, nothing past the "f" word, or you will be warned. o3. Please use proper grammar in your stories. I don't expect the greatest grammar and spelling in the whole wide world to be put into your story. But, I would at least like it be to understood. English is taught throughout public schools, so there should be no reason for you not to use proper grammar in your stories. At least enough for everyone to understand it. o4. Spam will NOT be tolerated. Like in every other forum, spam will NOT be tolerated in any part of the fanfiction forum. If a story has been completed for a year now and people are still posting in it, then that is spam. If you see this, please send me a PM and I'll take care of it ASAP. o5. No plagiarism will be tolerated in the Literature section! If you copy off published or non-published work, your thread will be closed and you will be asked for proof that you didn't copy off someone else's work. If you post another story and you have plagiarized again, you will be warned and your thread will be closed. [This mostly points to original works; I know some intros to KH fics start out in a similiar fashion to KH's intro. But, if you copied someone else's fanfic, the same thing will happen to you.] o6. Please actually critique a story, rather than just say 'that's really good!' Not really a rule, but more of suggestion. All everyone says in this forum is 'good job! i like it a lot!' or 'that's really good!'. But, that's not helping anything. You're not going to get better unless you fix your mistakes, but it's hard to fix your mistakes when you don't even know what they are. Criticism is welcome, as long as its helping the writer. However, if the writer asks for no criticism, then please acknowledge that and don't critique! NEW RULE! o7. If you want to 'advertise' or tell everybody when there's a new chapter, don't go around doing it in everybody else's story thread. Seriously. Comments like 'Your story's great can you look at mine? Thanks!' WILL be deleted. Hopefully, that's a bit better! ^^; Also, I would REALLY apperciate it if you guys would report or tell me if something's up. I will be glad to go do something for this section, but I really need people to tell me that's something's wrong for two reasons: I can't check every single thread and I might not know exactly what's going on by just walking into a thread. If people could say something when something's wrong, I would really apperciate it! Also... If you would like to make a suggestion for the section, please post it over here! Rep Power: 11 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Making this just in case anybody's wondering where their thread goes after the new section appeared. If you have any questions about kinds of threads that I didn't cover or would like to make a suggestion, please post! Literature: All fanfictions, short stories that could be considered fanfiction, critique threads, question threads, writing guide threads, and anything else just involving the general concept of literature Original Creations: All original stories [THEY MUST HAVE NO RELATION TO ANY PREVIOUSLY CREATED, whether it relates to another person's story or something like a video game or a movie], all original short stories, poetry threads [even if they relate to a previously created source], and lyric threads [even if they relate to a previously created source] Last edited by Takushi Rena; 09/17/08 at 08:40 PM. |
