THE writer is currently snowdog, as she has been since I came here. Actually, everyone on the Beta reader list is pretty good, although ASG is the only one who really writes anymore. I'm trying to get back into the habit. And I think our work (mine, ASG's, snowdog's, Rena's, and several others) have really improved the quality of the stuff that gets posted here. For example, if you don't like plowing through a sea of KH fanfiction, you can just go to the other section. I'm still berating everyone I see who doesn't use good grammar.

I really don't post here anymore. I should. Maybe show off some stuff I have learned... Well, actually, that probably wouldn't be very much. Anyway, I really hadn't thanked everyone that has helped me until now. So, I thank you.

And even if 1 chapter's not the best, everyone tries their hardest the improve. And the Fanfiction section is quite organized. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | I've seen stories around that lacked good spelling, character depth and plot development. They still got plenty of reviews. Proof that reviews don't prove one's talent. I've had many a good fanfic that just...well, died. The one in my sig is the only one I have going on right now, and it's pretty inactive. Come to think of it, I have to work on the next chapter. |

TOHF couldn't write worth anything, last I checked. Sorasangel (The Clam Whisperer), C_U, GoH, K_K, Katattack, Silver... They're great. I talk to them all the time. You really don't need to point out the old legends to me. XD I happen to have surrounded myself with them. I really haven't read any of the stories here for a very long time, but maybe I'll start looking around. :O ...Maybe I'll even write something?! But don't count on it. I remember a lot of disappointed readers when I'd start-and-never-finish a story. XD I think I finished, like, four out of the serious nine fics I'd start. And I posted maybe two of them or something.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Yeah, we all had these fantastic ideas and absolutely no follow-through or focus. Somehow, stories still manage to form when you're working solo with no focus, but if you try to collaborate with someone who lacks follow-through too, your stuff tends to die pretty fast. And my opinion's not biased. XD I became friends with them because their writing was so good. And they're hilarious people. And TOHF's Evil Academy thing was like... almost passable but riddled with cameos and nonsense. XP It was more like a roleplay for himself. |

| I believe in a free Narnia | This is not an attempt to advertise but I need some help. I am having trouble deciding what I should do with my Fanfic, Batman: Persecutions of Fear So far, I have only written the Prologue. Now besides fixing up some mistakes I made already in the plot. Like "How does the Scarecrow know that Batman is Bruce Wayne?" Lemme set up my situation here: Basically Scarecrow is writing a letter stating his reasons and partial plans to kill Batman. After writing his letter he thinks of a person he needs to help him along. sort of like a second mastermind. Now. of course I have and Idea on what events I want to happen and Batman of course will win in the end. (DUH) BUT, I have run into this problem: I don't know what character the stories events should focus around. I can of course take the first choices and most obvious of centering the Story around Batman. OR. Centering around a villian. of course both Scarecrow and Two-Face will be heavily involved. and I could make all the events around both or either of them and still tell the same story. and the only thing holding me back is what direction to take. Help please? |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | @Gildragon Well, it depends on who the story is about. If it is about Batman's struggles in life and as a hero, then focus on him. If you want it to be about the villains' struggle against him, then focus on that. Of course, either way, both sides will be looked immensely, I assume. So, I guess it's a matter of priority. @Keyblade user Personally, my stories start out as basic concepts that pop into my head randomly. Then, I usually flush out the idea by listening to music. So, I don't really have any inspiration that I'm aware of. Now, if you want inspiration, just look for it. Watch TV, listen to music, play a game, go outside, go to a store, etc. You can find it anywhere. If I'm really stumped about something, I'll run a list of spur-of-the-moment words through my head until I find something that clicks. |
