I planning to start a FF8/My Hime crossover, I want to try an experiment with this but I don't how it will turn out though. I will read some Mai Hime fanfiction as well as some FF8 fanfiction to see if I can find some balance but I will start it even if it is small excerpt. My ideas had changed though but I will get my story across.

I won't double post since you are not allowed to anyway but I came up with an interesting setting that you may or may not have seen before in my creative writing class and I hope to use for a fanfic one day when I am not busy.

In the cold, unforgiving streets of a city that is almost completely covered in darkness and with the exception of a few neon lights on the buildings of this city and where it is mostly raining, lies a young blonde haired girl with fair skin and blue eyes is running through the city getting away from the shadowy creatures with yellow eyes trying to get her. The shadowy creatures had been hunting this girl around the city relentlessly for the past few minutes close to half an hour seeking to destroy her, take away her heart and plunge away into the deep darkness that lies in the abyss. The shadowy creatures continued their pursuit of the blonde haired girl, the girl turned around into a corner and found herself near a dead end unable to forward because of the wall and unable to leave the area now that the shadowy creatures had caught up with her.

I don't if you guys had already heard this in other fanfics but I plan to use it as a basis for a Kingdom Hearts fanfic in the future but if you had please tell me.

Hey I was just wondering if you guys have something you like to do while writing to stay concentrated or just as white noise?
I always listen to music while I write. I also always sit with my legs pulled up against my chest L style at my computer screen while eating a Kit-Kat bar.

Do any of you do that or am I the black sheep?

I listen to music as well. However, it depends what type of chapter I'm writing. Say, if I'm writing an epic fighting chapter, I'd probably play some Dragon Force.

That actually helps me too, I was listening to a lot of Linkin Park when I was typing up chap 3 of Prelude to Darkness. Basically music to suit the mood of the fic you're writing is the way to go and visualisation, that helps too.

Whoo-hoo! Can I say something!? First off, I hate writers block! I was trying to write more fanfic chapters but my brain is like not working! XD It's like STUCK! And secondly, what sucks is that I posted my fanfiction on here and so far, it went great but then I had a mix of discouragement and no comments of improvement, and a beta reader and so instead I'm trying to read other people's fanfiction w/out commenting (sorry btw) and so far, Iike theirs are WAY BETTER and then because I feel discouraged, but it DOESN'T mean I gave up, it just means: I wish I had a better way of storytelling/wording and wondering if it's me... or does that mean I can't write or come up w/ ideas? XDSo I feel stuck and this little sadness...Sorry for this being kinda long, I know it sounds silly/stupid even but that's all I have to say!

Yeah, I listen to Metallica or SOAD or something that I enjoy.

Also, something that would go with what I am writing. Like, I'm writing this story right now, and I want some emotion. I would listen to a song with emotion.

And, yes, I have listened to Dragon Force while writing before, too.

sorafan1203, writer's block is bad. Really, though, I find that it helps if you take a break for a day or two. Unless you get an idea. Then you can go back and write some more.

Yeah. In Prelude to Darkness, I was working on a kinda dark and intense mood, so its like Disturbed and stuff. In Shattered Regrets, I'm currently working on a stealthy type mood, so like, MI theme song.

Thanks for the advice! I've been doing that...hopefully that helps. I could try and do that...*sighs* Okay I'll give it another break, I'm going somewhere, anyway, so that should refresh my memory!

Hey I would like people to read my story. Could all go over and just read it I appreciate it. It's under Hi Everybody I just wrote bbs story. Please I need your opinions I'll be adding chapter by chapter everyday. I'll add either one or two chapters a day till it's over. Right now there are two chapters for Aqua's and part Ven's story.
