Kingdom Hearts: The Return of Darkness

This story takes place about eight years after KH. The two main characters are Riu and Wess, one from the Light and one from Darkness. They are brought together by fate, but an evil has come to separate them because of their unity and power. With the help of Sora and the gang, Riu and Wess must purify the worlds.

Weapon: Ultima Weapon Powered
Description: An advanced version of the Ultima Weapon. It has more detail and it has the ability to split into two Ultima Weapons. Riu can wield two Ultima Weapons like the BHK.
Looks: Riu has caramel colored skin, with black spiky anime-style hair, he wears a diamond necklace with a charm shaped like the Kingdom Key. He wears an outfit similar to Sora's original KH outfit, except that his is black and red.
Spells: Trinity Limit, Thundaga, Cuaraga, Firaga, Drive with Wess
Bio: A boy that was born into a world of darkness, but somehow found the light. He witnessed his parent's death at the age of five, murdered by Ansem and the Heartless. Since then he has found one of the legendary Keyblade weapons and fights for the light. He searches for the truth, why did Ansem target his family, is there something that he should know about himself, and why did the Keyblade choose him?????

Description: A black, curved, dark sword. Very similar to the Soul Eater.
Looks: A tall muscular 17 year old, Wess has gray eyes and gray-black hair. He wears dark blue shorts, and a white muscle shirt.
Spells: Dark Slash, Curaga, Dark Aura, Dark Firaga, Drive with Riu
Bio: Wess has had many problems throughout his young life. First, his mother died during childbirth. After he was born his father neglected him, blaming him for the death of his beloved wife. He never had any friends, and his grades were miserable. Through all these years of neglect and loneliness Wess grew angrier and angrier. Finally the anger in his heart took form the form of the Darkness Blade, he could also control many elements of the Darkness while using this powerful weapon. Instead of the darkness consuming him, he learned how to fully control the darkness which he uses for good.

Well here is the first part of the story...

Riu started towards Twilight Town. For some odd reason his heart told him to travel there. For the past eight years he has been alone. He needed some serious answers, and somehow he felt that he was going to get some in Twilight Town. So he continued on holding his mysterious Key weapon in his hand. Just in case of sudden danger. He was almost there, when he heard voices talking about the evil murderer Ansem...

"Ansem has returned! The Dark Lord has returned!!" called Larxene to Marluxia. "Quit your jabbering Larxene!" replied Marluxia, " Nobody knows this but us! We don't need you blabbing to all of the worlds!" "Awww, c'mon Luxie", said Larxene in a playful tone," Stop being so uptight! Ansem has returned and nobody can stop him! He is at his prime, nothing can defea-- "Yes something can Larxene, something can defeat the Supreme Ruler of Darkness. And it is in the form of two young men, one of the Light, and one of the Darkness....

Eventually, Riu left from hiding and came to a crossroad. He decided to rest here for the night, because he did not know which path to take. After about two hours of sleeping Riu awoke to see someone standing over him. He was tall, slender and had spiky brown hair. He also had a Key-like weapon that looked like the charm on his necklace.

He jumped back his one weapon now split into two. He was about to strike when the young man spoke. "Hey man, cool it! I did'nt mean to scare you", said the young man calmly, "I was only going to ask for your help." "What do you need my help for," said Riu suspiciously, "You look like you can take care of yourself." "Sora get over here," said a weird sounding voice, "We need to get a move on if we are going to hit Twilight Town by morning!" "Quiet Donald! I'm trying to get the kid to come with us!" "Twilight Town--" said Riu in a quiet tone. "Yeah, Twilight Town. Wanna come?" asked Sora. "Sure," said Riu, "But after I get my rest."


Please reply and tell me how you like my fanfic! By the way sorry about the short chapters, ideas just pop into my head and I write till I'm out of ideas. Eventually, the chapters will get longer.

Before I begin I would like to say sorry about the double post ;) also one reason I have not been continuing my fan fic is because my school started taking our state standardized tests during the week of May 9th. After that I had to finish a math project that was due near the end of the school year. Now that it is summer vacation time (YEAH!) I will start to be on the forums alot more. Anyway, back to the FF. Hope you like it!!!


Wess was really pissed. His father had yelled at him for the twentieth time today. "Wess!!! Clean your god*** room! NOW!!" his angry father wailed. "Dad I have already told you, my room is clean." said Wess trying to keep his cool, "Would you stop cursing at me! Please!!" His dad was not listening, instead he took another shot of vodka, that was his tenth one in five minutes. That was the final straw. Wess, who lived in Traverse Town, left his drunk father who started to drink from the bottle. He had no friends, except for Cid the gummi ship builder. Wess started for Cid's apartment, about three miles from where he sold gummi ship parts near the Accessory Shop. Cid had promised to build Wess a gummi ship, with all of the best parts, for no cost at all. All Wess had to do was wait until Cid's new shipment of parts came in, then he had to wait about six months until the ship was ready. This was a pretty massive ship. Tonight was the end of those six months. He was about to leave his father for good. He was about to go on a real adventure, he could feel it. He finally reached Cid's apartment. "Hello Wess, I've been expecting you." Cid said solemnly. "Wassup Cid. Is it ready?" "Yes Wess, it is." All I want to tell you is good luck. There are stange things out there, don't get hurt. Be safe." "I will Cid, I will." Cid then opened the roof of his apartment (he lived on the top floor) and then he opened the floor. The gummi ship rose from its hidden shelter. "Get in." Wess followed Cid's command. As he neared this magnificent vehicle the cockpit opened. He jumped inside. He powered up the ship and took off, leaving Cid, his father, and Traverse Town behind.

Not too bad, although i haveta admit apart from the lat one the chapters are kinda short, im sorta used to longer ones. All in all though it seems like theres a pretty good story to tell here. And just one request, can ya kinda stop double posting? I'll post after every chap if needs be just don't double post. I done it in my own fic and i know if it was read more frequently i would be flamed for it at the very least.

New Chapter!!! It has been awhile but I finally have an idea for a chapter, hope you like it!!!


Wess had no idea where he was going. Once he left Traverse Town about a week ago he just wandered around the vast nothingness. He passed many places of interest, or "worlds" as Cid would call them, but he never gathered enough courage to land and explore. He was getting low on food and and he knew he had to stop somewhere, and fast. There was only enough for about another day of traveling. He decided that if he was going to live, he needed to stop at the next "world" he saw.

He began to lower the thrusters and initiate the landing sequence, as he landed onto a very familiar world. It was familiar because it was Cid's home world, the one in the picture Cid had shown him. It had a huge castle, with water flowing all around it. It's name was Hollow Bastion.

Wess did not know what to expect from this world, he had not even been off his own, Cid told him that the place was overrun with something called "Heartless", and that he should be very cautious if he happened to go there. He had heard of the heartless before, a kid named Sora with a giant key for a weapon saved Traverse Town from destuction by defeating them. Wess was very grateful for his world not being destroyed, but he could only wonder why a kid would want to carry around a giant key for a weapon.

At any rate, he called on the power of darkness, by something he called "Powering Up" and went to face whatever was ahead.

Well, that's the end of this chapter, let's see what I can come up with in the next week or so! ;)
