Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Good book, and an even better companion album (Haunted) with the author's sister, Poe. Only read through once but I've been meaning to re-read it again. The idea of the house in the book is amazing and truly frightening. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | Haunted is a damn good album, the lyrics especially are a lot more clever than you'd first expect. So, did you all like the Navidson Record or Johnny's story better? People always give interesting explanations for their choice when I ask this. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | I think I really liked Johnny's story a bit better, probably because it had more of an impact on me. (and because of his mother who is a pretty fantastic character.) It also 'scared' me more than the Navidson Record did as well, mental instability unsettles me a lot, and Johnny and the other characters in his story had quite a bit of it. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() ![]() Currently playing: Bayonetta, Left 4 Dead 2 Level: 9 EXP: | How much better? I enjoyed it well enough the first time, and if it's even better second time around I'll give it a shot someday. But I also have a whole stack of new books I want to read, not sure if I want to bump anything further down the queue. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | House of Leaves is really one of those books that gets better each time you read it. You make new connections between everything, it's ridiculous how many things there really are to discover within it. There's actually a fairly active forum where people have been discussing theories since like, 2002, and that's where a lot of the good stuff goes on. [link] if anyone is interested. |

| Zero | Reading it for the first time. It's a very interesting book, though it's layout can really mess with you at times. |
