Rep Power: 5 ![]() Level: 22 EXP: | So, I read this series, consisting of The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass, and finished The Amber Spyglass just last night. This series is so amazing! Gah I love it! I recommend it to everyone (except maybe devout Catholics). Either way, what were you opinions on the books? |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | Oddly enough, I was never able to get into this series. I made it fifty or so pages into the first before I gave up, it just seemed really dry, and a chore to read. I've heard a lot of people who've said it was excellent though, so maybe I'll pick it up again next time I'm at the library. |

| ⎳ΣGΣNDΛRΨ | Like Pelafina, I picked it up a few years ago, and found it really dry and hard to get into. About a year ago I picked it up and gave it another shot, and raced through the three books in less than a week. |

| November Blue | I read this series, in fifth grade, and highly enjoyed it. And can you imagine, I'm still christian. Some mothers are incredibly overprotective >.> |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | I read this series during the semester that I was taking a Milton class. I don't know if I would have enjoyed this series as much as I did if I wasn't very familiar with Paradise Lost. It did seem a little childish at first, which almost made me put it down. Everything comes together in the third book though, and I'm glad I finished reading it. |

| He doesn't look a thing like Jesus | I love this series. I first read it in middle school and it remains one of my all-time favorite series. |

| Fuck man wats rong wit u? | I personally didn't like it that much. The Amber Spyglass was the worst in my opinion. And the ending was really sappy. |

| loves Quinn Fabray. | It's a great series. Reading this makes me want to read it again. Yeah, the first few chapters of the first book are a bit dry, I suppose. But it really picks up. |
