Default Edgar Allen Poe

Amazing writer. We recently finished Fall of the House of Usher in school, and were it not for my horrid English class I probably would've enjoyed it more, but whatever. We're gonna read The Raven and Masque of the Red Death when we get back from Spring Break and I, for one, can't wait.

Anyone else a fan?

Oh most certainly! Edgar Allen Poe is one of my favorite writers, hands down. I personally like The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Masque of the Red Death, The Black Cat, and the Fall of the House of Usher. I don't know what it is about that dark taint of his, but I just love it!

And I'm sure most of us know the horrors of a bad English class. It hindered my enjoyment of The Chosen.

I'm a very big fan. I've read The Fall of the House of Usher,The Duc de L'Omelette, Bon-Bon, The Raven, Masque of the Red Death and King Pest. The Red Death is very intresting, and just amazing. It's my favorite out of all his works.

Poe is was fairly good writer, pity he lived in poverty for most if not all of his life.
Fall of the House of Usher was my favorite, followed closely by the Raven.

The Raven is my favorite by far. It's part of the reason that I got in to writing, especially poetry.

You have to enjoy how he takes a animal that many consider insignificant and uses it to show the torture that it can bring out.

I am a huge fan of Poe. One of the few poets I actually will go out of my way to read his or her work.

One of my favorites yet to be mentioned is El Dorado.

I've read The Raven, The Pit and the Pendulum, The Fall of the house of Usher, The Telltale heart, The Masque of the red death, The Cask of Amontillado, A Descent into the Maelstrom, The Premature Burial, Eldorado, The Bells and Annabel Lee. As you can see, I am quite the fan of his works. Oh yeah, I've also read Hop-Frog.

I think it's cause he's easier to understand that everyone likes him so much, as well as it's not all mushy.
