Default Keys to the Kingdom?

<_< to anyone else who has read the series.

Am I the only one who thinks they're slightly similar?

aka:

Key/blades

No one can TAKE the keyblades/keys without being GIVEN to them
I can't remember the other references.
Cept Nithlings remind me of Heartless.... or Nobodies.

I've read the series. I've never connected it to Kingdom Hearts though. I did start a role play for The Keys to the Kingdom series. The sign ups are open ended and you don't have to have read the series to be in the role play. The link is in my sig...but if no one wants to scroll down that far!

Here's the link! xDDD

I love this series, it's actually one of my favorite. But I don't really see how they are connected.

Everything else Nix has written was better, honestly.

I could never really get into these.

I did love reading Shade's Children. I actually had a nightmare about the book before I even read it. I had never heard of it either. But then after I read the book I realized that's what it was from with the overlords and stuff. It was a strange case of deja vu to be honest. xD
