For one, the post I made wasn't directed at you, actually. I'd seen a few reposts before that, and deigned to address them. So no worries there.


As for your second inquiry though, I'm divided. I think that I would prefer either one work by an author, two if it's really that difficult to choose, or a whole bibliography. As much as I'd like to recommend every novel by any particular author, it simply becomes too cluttered and confusing in the first post. And my ultimate goal with this thread is to introduce an author to the people here, and let them decide whether or not to continue reading them. So the original post is more of a starter guide then anything comprehensive.

im not sure if anyone's mentioned this ..
The Mallorean - David Eddings (fantasy)

..its the sequel series to The Belgariad and its just as good if not better in my opinion ..i didnt see it anywhere tho and i thought it was worthy of the list so ..uhh yeah

I have never really liked Eddings.... His books are somehow so weird.
