Sins And Virtues.

((Author Notes: This is a sort of One shot that's going to become a series I do. So, this is a prologue of sorts. However, I might want to turn it into a collaborative project. I have this crazy Idea if people would be interested in hearing me out. So here's a taste of what the plot might be...))

"There are sixteen. They represent the laws and fabric of reality. They are not to be used by mortal hands. The Keys of Virtue, and the Keys of Sin. Scattered across this universe, acting as the stitches in ripped fabric."

The old man wrote down with his large feather quill. He looked to the side of his desk at the small black ink well that was spilling a little bit from excessive use. He dabbed the pen's tip inside just twice, and then tapped it gently on the side of the well, to make sure to ink smudged the paper. He placed it down on the paper and began to write. The cursive of his writng sharp and very precise, as if he'd been writing since the day he was born. He had a knack for it, he could help himself.

Ever since he;d learned to write he'd known that, that, was what he was going to do his entire life.

He removed his pen from the paper and looked at what he'd just wrote.

These are our Sins in Physical form:

The Key of Envy
The key of Lust
The key of Pride
The key of Wrath
The key of Gluttony
The key of Sloth
The key of Greed

He re-inked the pan again. The candlelight to which he wrote flickered in that small study room filled with only a desk and a shelf. On that shelf he had assortment of old parchments, Many colored inks and pens. all seeming either cheaply made or absurdly expensive. The man cleared his throat and put down the pen in the ink well again. He sighed. His arthritis was beginning to pain his severely. He rested his fingers a little bit before gingerly taking hold of his pen again and continuing to write.

These are our holy rights, and Virtues resting below heaven:

The key of Purity
The key of Temperance
The key of Charity
The key of Diligence
The key of Patience
The key of Kindness
The key of Humility

He sighed and ignoring his pain he kept writing.

Then there are the two keys that watch over them all, Both as guardians, and prison keepers.

The Key of Birth and the Key of the Deep.

The old man rolled up the parchment, and tied it with a red ribbon. He put it inside his desk. He stood up from the plain wooden chair at which he sat and walked slowly out of the room after blowing out the candle. He walked into the living room of hid house, that was lit by one single solitary. He walked over to it, and picked it up. He held it up o a glass case on the wall. Inside of it, was a goldlen key shaped sword. It was designed with a theme of intertwining hearts, and a joint partner ship. It even let out a kind of calm, soothing feeling from it.

"Good night, my sweet thing..." He kissed the case and then turned off the lantern...

Technically it's a bunch of people working together on one story. The Idea i had was a series of like three chapter stories surrounding each of the keys. 7 people doing their own style with different parts of the story. 2 keys each.

just a little project involving multiple people...

I wouldn't mind being a part of this collaboration.
I understand the format, that you described in the above post, but what of the story exactly? Finer details?

Well, there are 16 key blades. 14 in the physical world, and 2 between world,s over seeing the rest. All these keys have minds of their own and power that no one can control. Everyone who weilds on is changed as long as they hold it. So, technically it's a series of short stories by several Writers relationg to two of the keys of your choice. Seven people in total including myself. Then in the end, I'd use those short stories to make a larger series in which the characters will meet, though I may still need help with that too, since 14 characters in one story is difficult...

It takes place in the KH realm I'm assuming?

Sure! It also...well, it take place int the KH realm, but I having trouble deciding whether it should be way, way in the past. Or in an alternate universe. i'll get back to you as more people...if more people join. until then, if you get any idea, PM me. :D

Vey well. The Birth and deepness are off limits, since they aren't in physicality.

And I would like to do wrath and purity..So, if it's one of those two, I'll let you have one of them, other than that you're free to choose...

Another question (jeez i have too many),
Do we have to pick one Keyblade of Sins and one of Virtues or could we do two sins or two virtues?

Really it's up to you. I would prefer to even it out...but if you simply must have two sins or two virtues, i won't stop you.

Nevermind. Just...something to do with the Seven deadly sins and...alchemy.... and....lost limbs.

Anywhom, you want to have those keys.

you can be specific on what they do, but here's the basics.

Envy: Causes Envy in others. (range of power, up to you, but preferable large)

Cause increase in some aspect of users power. (again, up to you.)

Power negated by it's opposite, which is The key of Kindness. Vice Versa.

Changes the user to fit the personality of the key.

Lust: Similar deal. Negated by Purity. Vice Versa.

Also remember to specify where they are hidden. It can be on world that exsist already, or they can be brand new. I think this should take place in the past....the far past....
