Default Hearts Harbinger

Ok, it has been a loooooooooooooooong time since I've been on this site! Seriously, I tried creating a new account and it said I already had one. So even though I wanna change my user name I'm stuck with the lame name I made up when I was 10 years old. Oh joy...anywho, I suppose I could actualy post some what of a story here. It has certainly been a while since I wrote anything about Kingdom Hearts (can't say the same for Naruto or Bleach. Or D.Gray-Man. Or Gundam Seed...ok I think that's it). Now that my hyperness is gone…*turns on emo music* I’m getting in the mood! *Playing It’s Peanut Butter Jelly Time* SHIT!!! *Presses millions of buttons until finally Faint by Linkin Park comes on.* Phew. Okay, on with the story. I present...Hearts Harbinger.

I think I should mention that this will be somewhat of a yaoi...ok...it's a little incest! Mind you, that's a spoiler! You'll understand why much later! Don't like, don't read! (But I can assure you there is nothing much.)

I walked into the church, my eyes taking in the destroyed yet beautiful scene in. It was breathtaking. The pale moon shone through the stained glass windows providing as much light as possible for my path. The pews around me were partially destroyed and pieces of wood and stone crushed under my feet as I walked. I could feel the presence of Aireth but there was also someone containing Jenova cells near by. Despite the lack of light, I felt oddly comfortable in the darkness of the night. Walking forward, my steps unusually quiet, I could sense someone near by.

I looked ahead, my blue-green eyes setting on a small pool of water that rested in a hole in the ground. The water gave a faint green glow and was adored with yellow flower petals on the surface. I came to a stop at the edge of the small pool.

The moon was covered by a stray cloud and the church got darker. I guess no one was here. My instinct was wrong…for once. I turned to leave when a voice called me back. “I see you were called to this place. You don’t belong in the light of that world.”

The voice was cold and void of emotion yet I could hear it echo in my mind. I slowly turned, knowing exactly who it was, and our eyes locked. They were carbon copies of each other. I clutched my head as a surge of pain exploded from my temples. My pupils flitted between the norms to cat-like slits finally staying as an abnormal pupil. I cried out in pain as I felt my back split open. A large ebony wing extended from my left shoulder blade, weak from lack of use. It hung limply at my side.

I lost strength and fell to one knee, panting hard. The transformation always sapped me of some of my energy. I could sense my elder copy coming towards me. I weakly looked up a little, my vision now inhumanly sharp. He was walking on the water towards me. I tried to move some part but was held in place either by fear or by him.

He stopped a little away. “Otouto…” I stood unsteadily, my wing keeping me balanced. I turned my back to him and took a couple steps away, trying to pick up my pace. I had to get away. My steps echoed loudly in the church and I came to a stop. He was coming up behind me.

In almost a flash, he had his right arm over my shoulder, holding me back. I felt like turning around and hitting him but again I was held back as he began to stroke my feathers almost lovingly. Melting in his arms, I began to lean into his touch, my eyes almost closed but my arms at my sides.

“You weren’t thinking of leaving, were you…Otouto?”

I snapped awake, nearly banging my head on the headrest of my bed. My chest was covered in sweat and my breaths came short and quick. I ran a tentative hand through my silver hair, trying to regain some composure. Letting out a sigh, I laid back down on my bed.

It was the same dream...or nightmare. It had been the same church...the same night...and the same man. And what was up with the water? And why the hell did that guy seem so damn familiar!?! I glanced at my alarm clock to see that it was 7:30. Which meant at any time...

"Riku! Time to get up!" I sighed, throwing my quilt off my body and slowly getting up. I opened my dark blue curtains and morning sun shone through them. Snapping them shut quickly, I groaned, falling back onto my bed. I began to drift off but the other occupants of my home wouldn't allow thought.

BANG! BANG! BANG! "Up Riku! Now!" The shrill voice of my mother blared in my ears. I gave a mumble in reply and my door burst open.

A woman in her thirties walked in with perked up hair and pure blue eyes. She was currently wearing a dress that was pink with high heels to match. Most would see a caring mother, worried about her only son but all I saw was trouble coming in fast. She had her hands on her hips giving me a scolding look.

Strutting over, my mom opened the curtains, letting light shine in again. "I still don't understand why you keep your room so dark. It's not healthy at all for your complexion, Riku." I knew she was eventually going to say something about that yet I couldn't help but smile into my pillow. At last...we were home.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been two weeks since our return and already we were heading for out first week of school in over a year. Naturally, when we came home, our parents were going crazy that we were finally back. At least Sora's and Kairi's parents were...calmer than mine. My mom had almost tackled me to the ground when I first opened the front door. This did nothing for my injured ribs of course that I had gotten from our final battle with Xemnas.
It was also the first time I had seen my father cry. They were mostly tears of joy but then...they asked me where I was. Obviously I couldn't say 'Yeah, I was out being a slave to some witch and then my body got possessed by some darkness controlling freak. Then I ended up getting stuck in the Realm of Darkness followed by being tormented by the same idiot who wanted to take over my body again. Sora ended up in a deep sleep so I had to go get his other half back which involved me getting taken over by the darkness once again. Got any snacks?'
Oh yeah. That would go over quite nicely with my over protective parents. So instead of the truth, I had lied, saying that I had been with Sora the whole time. It wasn't too hard; I always knew where he was. So now my parents thought I was the hero of the worlds. If only they knew...
So now, I've been trying to adjust to actually having a normal school day with normal friends. Maybe I'll be able to live a normal life. I doubt it though. Still, as I sat down to eat breakfast, I couldn't get that dream, and that man out of my head.
OOOO! That was pretty good for my first day back, eh? So, who is this mysterious person that visits Riku in his dreams? Does he have something to do with Riku? Does he know about the keyblade bearers? Do you really have to ask?
