KINGDOM HEARTS: Menacing thief


yes i changed the name of my story, why? i felt it needed more of a story behind it not a mystery love story. new enemy is really just one person who can steal keyblades, he makes fake keyblades to his army, he basically traps kids and makes them fight with the fake keyblades, but the fakes have powers to mind control the kids. Rin and shino must fin a way to save the children and help. but right now we are still in the basics so this new enemy will not be shown yet until two of the characters wield a keyblade

CHAPTER I: First Love


PART I

ok its set off in a mysterious world that has never been touched by the heartless, many never knew it was there except for those who wish to discover, like ansem, this world is very mysterious, it has some ff7 crisis core resemblance so please i dont wish to hear any "u got that from crisis core" well thank you for understanding and here you go. you aren't suppose to understand it all right away. you will soon see why its relevant to kh. this story isnt the kind of cheey kingdom hearts you are use to, one of the members had a problem with this and kept wanting to change the idea instead of the look or the worlds.

Aros: ....and thats how sora came back to his world and reunited with all of his friends. "wow i love that story" Rin said really happily. Rin is a beautifull girl with short silver hair with bright red eyes, she lost her parents during a fire and lived in an orphanage ever since, her hair is short because of the fire that burned most of her hair, she continues to cut her short to remind herself that she still misses her parents and will find a way to get them back.

Hiroshi was staring at Aros the whole time just looking at him and was thinking of something he never thought of before, he wanted to say what he was thinking but he didn't want to say it out loud. so he just waited. Hiroshi had short green hair, with blue eyes.Hiroshi was a different person then Rin. All his life he was successful all his life. His parents and his friends are always nice to him. His life never had any problems and never put him down in any way. His life is so happy and flawless that he believes that he is living a lie. He only hangs out with Shino and Rin because they know true suffering and Shino and help him see life as a real matter.

Shino, who was right next to Hiroshi was really happy as well. "I loved that story too Aros!" he said. Shino has long black hair, he was abandoned in the streets when he was 5, he never really knew is name, he was then taken into the orphanage by the help of Rin, the orphanage gave him the name Shino since he had no name to start with.

"im glad you love the story, i guess it doesnt get old for you guys." Aros said. "no we really do like that story, i sometimes think that you are sora when you are telling it to us." Hiroshi said very timidly. Aros laughs a little and says "you guys are are almost adults, yet you like my story as if it was a kids story." "well since you all loved the story so much i want you guys to have these" aros said. he pulls out three little gift bags and gave them to the 3.

Rin was surprised in what she got "wow, orichalcum ring, and a dark anklet, thanks Aros!" Hiroshi had gotten a mitril ring and a gold ring. "thanks Aros" he said, while he said that he was still thinking of what he was thinking. As for shino he got some munny and a gold crown. he said thanks as well and was very happy.

Aros, then frowns and looks at the trio. he says very softly "there may be a time when you wont see me for a long time..." "what are you trying to say Aros?"asked Rin in a very curious tone.He then quickly smiles and says"oh nothing! i usually get something like that from my old friends...." "hey guys why don't you go play along and have fun now? the story is over and i think you still have enough energy to something right?" "oh yeah!" Hiroshi said. "we still need to build our space ship to see the other worlds." shino and Hiroshi left and said bye to Aros.

as for Rin, she wanted to talk to Aros alone. "what is it Rin, did you wanted to buy something from my shop?" "actually i do....Do you think i could buy a papou?" rin asks very softly. Aros," og sure, do u mind who are you going to share it with?"

"i cant say...but i want to share with some one i love." Rin says it even softer. "you know what, ill give you one for free, how about that?"

"really? i don't want to be a bother to you"

"no tis fine really, i shouldn't make a good friend and best customer pay for something so small, really, i don't mind at all"

"thanks Aros, i wont forget this day." Rin then ran off and says goodbye to Aros, "hmm....i feel like this day went to fast...i think i should have talk more to Aros then just leave things short" Rin then thinks. "i wonder why Hiroshi was looking at Aros different? but then again he was always an odd person. i cant wait to share this with shino."

Ever since Rin found Shino walking around the streets and took him to the orphanage, Rin saw something in Shino that she didn't really find in anyone. As she runs down to find Shino, she starts to remember when they first met

"hey you there what are you doing just lying on the ground?"

"Are you talking to me? im just laying here because i want to go to sleep.

"but...u should sleep at your home."

"i have no home, and no parents to go to. besides i like sleeping here, it makes me think more."

"hmm...if you don't have a home, and have no parents like me, then maybe you should live in the orphanage like me"

"do they have any food there?"

"Hold my hand, i will take you where you can get food and help you heal your wounds, they will even give you a pair of clothes."

"thanks girl"

"my name is Rin, may i ask whats yours?"

"uhmm....well, i dont have a name."

"oh i see....well its ok i think the orphanage will give you a name."

As Rin running down the alley daydreaming, she wasnt paying attention and she then bumps into Shino by accident and the papou then gets crushed on to the floor." oh im so sorry Rin! "i didn't mean to crush your fruit." Rin looking at the crushed papou, feeling embarrassed over the fact of irony and emotions came up to her. "oh...well its ok its nothing, i was just going to put that in the fridge anyway." Rin almost about to cry, ran off and didn't say a word. Shino went and yelled out to Rin saying "I'm sorry Rin!, i was playing the role as sora and i got carried away!. I'm sorry!"

As for Aros, he just stood on top a roof top watching the whole thing. how did he get up to the roof top so fast? and why was he spying on them? no one knows why, but later that day Aros was about to go to sleep when someone arrived at his window. "Sora, where have you been?" the stranger says.

"ah your highness, im sorry i couldn't go back to my world, i still need to find someone that the keyblade trusts."

"please, calm down, its ok, we will give you more time."

"thank you king mickey, i know its hard for the kingdom key to decide."

"when will you reveal your friends that your true name is sora and not something else? you seem attached to them, and the keyblade is already deciding who it wants."

"then why cant i sense it?"

"Because your time as a keyblade wielder is over now, the keyblade must move on to a strong youth who fells love and desires justice. Sora, you had a memorable time with your keyblade, but now i believe that your story has ended, you can still be with your old friends right? riku has already decided who his new heir will be"

"ok ok ok, i understand, ill et the keyblade decide tomorrow, can i just have one last moment with kingdom key?"

"of course..."

"well keyblade...our story has ended, but now there is a new one to begin and we aren't in the picture."

PART II

As three days have passed, Rin has been avoiding Shino and spend more time with Hiroshi, Hiroshi and Rin have been getting along and having fun. usually they played the game Sora's (butthe people in this world know him as Aros the great story teller of kingdom hearts) story. mean while Sora has to choose someone to pass over the "kingdom key" blade, he needs to now choose between Shino, the kind and forgiving type of person, or Hiroshi, the deep and mysterious, but loving and likable.

world:[NIGHTFALL CITY]

"hey rin you play as kairi and ill be sora!" said Hiroshi.Rin looking disappointed said,"why cant you be Riku? or me be someone else other then kairi?" "why? i don't like you that way Rin, but its just role play. Besides Shino is buying us some sea salt ice cream at Aros stall so you wont need to worry about me being sora for long."Hiroshi said. "how about i be riku, and you can be sora, so it could work out." said rin. Hiroshi laughed and looked at Rin like she was joking. "what? i can be a good riku, i have the silver hair and everything and his name has are R like mine.." Rin said angrily. "RIN, sometimes you are such a tomboy. 1) you may have the hair color, but the lenght is too short for you to be Riku, even though you are a girl. 2)your name does have an "r" just like riku but your name is slightly shorter. but none of that matters, your personality can never be like Riku's, you are too nice.

"Forget this then, im leaving. I'm tired of being treated so delicately. When can i be the hero in this game? I'm always the damsel in distress who always needs to be rescued." Rin yelled. after that she ran off and went to her secret area that no one knows about.

Hiroshi was shocked and a little scared. Shino came back with the ice creams, and met up with Hiroshi. "Hey where did Rin go?I bought her some ice cream." Shino said. Hiroshi embarrassed by getting told by Rin, merely said,"she ran of.......and i didn't see where she went." "hmm...i think i have an idea where she went." Shino said. he then too ran off in search for Rin leaving Hiroshi with three sea salt ice creams.

world [NIGHTFALL CITY]:the abandoned cathedral.

Rin talking to herself and feeling lonely kept drawing pictures of Shino and her kissing, holding, and anything romantic. while she drew she was thinking in her mind,"why doesn't Shino like me the way i like him? I tried telling him but i always freeze up and mention something completely stupid. and i also tried the papou but...well it was worse then going up to him and confessing my feelings." Right after she was thinking those thoughts, she noticed some talking to behind the room of the altar. for years Rin has been in the cathedral to be used as her personal thinking area, but she never heard any voices before.

she felt scared but at the very same time curious. she went to the door and opened it just a little for her to look in through. when she saw in the room, she was very surprised to see that it was her friend Aros.


"why is Aros here in the abandoned cathedral?" rin thought. she then here's Aros talking to some one else.
"im sorry but i cant find who can be the next wielder, im thinking of my two friends Hiroshi and Shino, but lately my sense have been way off and i cant tell who it is." Aros says. Rin then heres another mysterious voice, it sounded very high, and very ridgy. "i know sora, you still need more time, recently I've been getting news about heartless and nobodies sprouting out in a lot of worlds. Don't worry though, the new master is taking care of it, Riku chose a fine wielder so u don't need to worry." said the mysterious voice. "sora! Aros is actually Sora!! then who is that mysterious voice!! I need to see who this person is!! Rin shocked, scared, and curious tried to open the door a little to see who it was. She was leaning on the door to much that when she opened it a little she tripped and felled right into the room.

"who do we have here?' said the mysterious voice. "Rin? are you ok? why are you here?" said Sora. Rin got up and was about to go in to a state of shock. "I cant believe your SORA! You saved all those worlds and helped the King, and you got reunited with your friend Riku and Kairi!Oh my god!I cant believe you were friends with me and talked to me!.

"Calm down, you are about to have an anxiety attack!" said the mysterious person. Rin looked at him and saw his big round ears, and he thin tail, and his round nose. "A-are you the KING, KING MICKEY!??!?" before talking more she had an anxiety attack and fainted.

"hmm....Sora have u told your friends about your story?"asked Mickey. "Yes but i did not reveal that i was Sora, of course." said sora. "yes, i already know. Hhmm...i thought these kids were merely asking for new products of your stall, i didn't know you were telling them your story." said mickey. "well yes i guess i grew attached to them, speaking of which, i tihnk i should help out this young lady from the ground." said sora. "Ah yes, this one seems to have a strong and passionate heart." said mickey with a less mysterious and more happy tone.


sora picked up Rin, sat down on a church pew, and laid her over his lap. while sora stroke Rin's hair he started to remember when kairi and Riku were building the raft. then he thought of the three that were trying to do the same but with a spaceship instead.

"hey Aros! look at the ship we are building its going to fit all four of us!"

"four? last time i count it was just you, shino and Hiroshi. Who is the fourth one to will join you?"

"its you Aros! You will come with us! Maybe you could help us navigate since we never seen other worlds."

"ok ok ok , when you finish your ship i will think about it."

"oh come on Aros, we might get lost and might never return to our home world again."

"then i guess ill need to build you guys a map, just for you wont get lost."

"really!? thanks Aros, you're a great friend."

As Sora drifts away from the memory, he realized who the next wielder of the keyblade will be. He looks at rin, remembering how she always had a good heart, very kind, and never once tried to hurt anyone. "Sora, are you ok? you don't look well." mickey stated. "no im fine, in fact i feel relieved, all this time i had doubt about who will be the next keyblade wielder would be, but now....i know i can leave it in good hands." said sora in a calm voice.

"thats good, now its all up to me to find my new heir.i believe it should be the one boy who always watched over both this girl and the other boy. what was his name? Hiroshi? i've been watching him and he sees everything in suspicion he almost noticed yo were sora once." mickey said. "well thank you, I had a great time knowing, you since i already chosen do you want me to return back to Destiny islands?" asked sora in a very happy voice.

"yes, but please be patient i know you ant to return back to kairi and Riku, but dont you want to say good bye to your new friends?" asked mickey. "oh yes, but right now i only want to say bye to Rin first, ill give the rest a letter. so if u don't mind i really want to be alone with Rin." said sora.

"Yes of course, take your time." said mickey, he then left the abandoned cathedral and disappeared.

A few minutes has passed, and Rin started to woke up. The first thing she noticed as she opened her eye lids, was that she was on someones lap. She then got up as fast as she could blushed bright red. "I'm so sorry, Aros i didn't know i fell asleep, i had this strange dream about you being Sora." Rin said in a fast and stuttering tone. wait...it wasn't a dream...you really are Sora!" rin said, in a very fast and stuttering tone.

"Rin, i know you are excited and shocked to find out im Sora, but please calm down so we can talk together normally." said Sora. Rin then calmed down and looked at Sora. "H-hey Sora, can u show me your keyblade? Its ok if you don't want to." Rin said in a very shy tone. "Please Rin relax, you didn't have trouble talking to me when you knew me as Aros. Talk to me like if i was your old friend. and yes i will show you my keyblade." sora said. sora then shows Rin the charm that appears to look like the head of King mickey and then suddenly the keyblade appears right on Sora's hand. "this is my keyblade, of course you know the name of it, and King Mickey has one that looks just like this." sora said with enthusiasms.

"oh i almost forgot! Where did king mickey go! i could've sworn i saw him too." Rin shouted. "Rin, that doesn't matter right now, i wanted to tell you something important....you see, the keyblade needs a new wielder, and the one i chosen was you." sora said n a very straight forward voice. Rin felt excited at first but then frown. "but....what about you? this is your keyblade Sora. I cant take this from you." said Rin in a low sad voice. "its ok, i made up my mind, at first i thought of Shino and Hiroshi but now i realize it should be you, Rin." said Sora. Rin, stood up from the church pew and reached out her hand to Sora. "If you truly believe i was meant to wield the keyblade, then i need to see if the keyblade wants me a swell." said Rin, in a confident tone.

"you are worthy Rin, the keyblade knows that too, but to both our satisfaction ill let the keyblade decide,.......Kingdom Key......Is Rin worthy to wield you as the protector of light and darkness?"

PART III


As soon as sora said those words the keyblade suddenly let out a mysterious bright light. The light was so bright it filled the whole cathedral. The light then slowly faded away Rin could open her eyes.

But when she opened her eyes she saw nothing but darkness everywhere around her. She started to shiver and leaned down. then a mysterious voice suddenly appeared


"step forward...can u do that?" it said.

"who are you!? where am i?"

"you can call this the climax of your beginning, Rin..."

"how do you know my name!?!?!?" yelled out with fear and anger.

"just walk forward....all will be explained for you..." said the mysterious voice again.

As Rin walked forward, three tools of weapons suddenly appeared in front of her. She saw a shield, a wand, and a sword. "choose what is important duringcombat Rin..." the voice said but this time it faded even more quicker than before. Rin, without asking questions, looked around and saw the sword. She immediately chose the grabbed the sword and said to the mysterious voice "i choose this sword as a great importance in combat."

the voice gave of a little chuckle and said, "what a surprise, the new hero chose a sword as his tool of war."

"i chose this not because i liked it, i chose it because i felt like it called to me..." rin explained. "very well....then please walk forward to the door." mysterious voice said again.

Rin didn't see a door, and was about to ask until one suddenly appeared. she walked forward and opened the door.

meanwhile, sora was waiting for Rin to become the new keyblade wielder. He almost fell asleep when, Shino came into the cathedral.

"oh hey Aros! i didn't expect you to be here." said Shino. " "oh hey, Shino, im just waiting for Rin. She has a surprise for you and Hiroshi." sora said in a very mysterious tone. "really? wonder what it is?....OH! i bet she finished the gummi ship we were building!" Shino said all excited. "you sure do like Rin don you." sora said to Shino.
Shino's excitement suddenly dropped and was calm and relaxed."actually i think i've fallen for her.....She is always so nice...i remember the first time we met." Shino said in a infatuated voice.

"really? was it when she found you in a dark alley and helped you?" Sora asked. "yeah, at first i didn't know what she wanted to give me. i was scared, but she helped me get on my feet.....before, i had no one, i felt like i didn't exist. i was some invisible being. But when i met her, she was like the one thing that made me feel like i was a real person. im glad we met..." Shino explained. "well when Rin comes back, will you tell her how you feel about her?" Sora asked.

"i don't know, what if she doesnt feel the same way i do about her?" Shino asked. "don't worry, she is a good friend, she wont hurt your feelings, and if she does she wont do it intentionally." sora said in a calm voice.

"why don you give her a papou?" sora asked. "

"well...i guess i could give her one...but what if she doesnt want it? i mean..i broke her papou last time..." Shino said with a disappointing face. "don't be afraid Shino, you are always self conscious, why don't you try being optimistic for a change." sora said all excited.

"well...i guess i could try it for once." Shino said softly. Sora than rushed out of the cathedral while holding Shino's shoulder. "where are you taking me Aros!?!?!?!?!?" Shino yelled out. Sora then rushed behind the cathedral and there was this beautiful garden. "i waned to show you my garden." Sora said while panting. in the garden it showed palm trees full of papou fruit, and watermelons.

"wow, Aros, i love your garden!" Shino said in amazement. "hey, why don't you look around and get the biggest ripe papou fruit you can find just for Rin ok?" Sora said. "WOW! you mean it Aros!? you're the greatest friend i could ever ask for!" Shino said in a very loud voice. Shino then walked around the garden to see what he could find. He saw every fruit in the garden but couldn't find anything suitable for Rin. He looked for quite a while until he saw a palm tree with white papou fruit on it.

"hey Aros! i think i found the perfect papou fruit for Rin." Shino yelled out. "let me see Shino." Sora said running towards him. As soon as sora saw the fruit Shino picked out for Rin, his eyes glistened.


"Shino...i think you are truly in love...i believe you will definitely win Rin's heart," Sora said in a soft voice.
