Darkness Revealed: The Other Battle

[Tragic Fall]

(This is a story based in the same universe as the Darkness Revealed RP series. For more info see the RPs. It takes place durring Darkness Revealed and before Darkness Revealed II)

The funny thing about life is that you never know what will happen next. Sure there are people who claim they can see the future, but only a handful of them actually can. Surprises are what makes life worth while....but the funny thing is....Alex St. John hated surprises. He liked knowing everything that was going to happen because surprises for him usually meant trouble.....today would be no exception.

"Vacation?" asked Alex," You guys are going without me?" He sighed as he saw his parents with there suitcases. His dad smiled at him and patted him on the shoulder.

"Alex, you're seventeen and old enough to take care of yourself." said his dad with a reasuring(sp?) voice. His mom nodded as she walked up beside his dad.

"You're fathers right." she said with the same tone," And you can always call us if you need anything." Alex shrugged and walked upstairs into his room.

"We'll be home next Friday." yelled his father from downstairs. Alex jumped slightly at his father's voice. He calmed down a little and shook his head.

"Okay!" he yelled back. He rolled his eyes as he heard them leave. They planned a vacation without even telling me thought Alex bitterly.

He walked over to his closet, put his pajamas away, and pulled on some brown cargo shorts and a black Green Day t-shirt. He then walked over to his bed and laid down.

Meanwhile......

The Angel looked through the sphere on the table watching Alex's every move. The Angel turned his head upward at the ceiling.

"You are sure he's the one you want?" asked The Angel. To anyone but the Angel..there was no response.

"As you wish." said The Angel.

[Haku]

Good start so far I thought by the time that I got to finished reading it I was expecting a bit more than what was told.

There were 2 typos that I caught one "vaction" should have been vacation and "Are you sure his the one" should have been "he's" but like I said before this definitely has potential keep up the good work.

[Tragic Fall]

Alex's parents had been gone for almost four hours and he was already bored out of his mind. Oh well he thought They must be bored sitting in that car for so long. Alex walked out of his house and over to the mailbox. He opened it only to find that there wasn't any mail.

BOOM!

A flash of light errupted around Alex. He immediantly brought his hands up to cover his eyes. What the hell is going on here he thought. He waited a few minute before lowering his hands. He nearly fainted when he saw where he was.

The room he appeared to be in was completely white and at the center of it sat an Angel at a desk. The Angel didn't seem to have emotions. He took a couple steps towards the angel and then stopped.

"Where am I?" asked Alex in slightly nervous tone. Needless to say he was experiencing different many different feelings including fear, confusion and nausia.

"You are in The White Room, as the others call it." said the Angel," When you were born, The Creator had me endow you with a special power." Alex's eyes widened a bit but he kept quiet.


"The Creator has decided that it is time for you to begin your service to the universe." said The Angel. Alex stared at the Angel with wide eyes.

"What are you talking about?" asked Alex," I don't have powers. Is this a dream. Are you on drugs? Am I on drugs?" The Angel sighed in annoyance and shook his head.

"Your powers haven't been activated yet..." said the Angel," So of course you are confused.....however....I don't care." The Angel pointed at Alex.

"I shall send you to a threatened world." said the Angel," There, you will meet up with another chosen. You two will make up the second team of chosen."

So this is real......what am I supposed to do thought Alex with a frown. He walked up to the Angel and grabbed it by the shoulders.

"What am I supposed to do on this world?" asked Alex," And what about this "powe" of mine?" The Angel sighed again.

"The other chosen will explain the situation to you..." said the Angel," And as for your power....just think of it as a surprise." Alex closed his eyes and shook his head. When he reopened his eyes, he was standing in the middle of a desert with nothing around for miles.

"I really do hate surprises......" said Alex as he looked around for anything.


(I'm going to Texas on Saturday....I'll try to post more before then......otherwise I'll be back in a week.)

Chapter 3

Alex walked through the desert looking for any signs of life. He had never felt heat like this before and he knew that he had to find water fast. The Angel didn't even tell me where he was sending me thought Alex. He laid on his back in the sand.

"How long have I been out here?" said Alex," It seems like its been hours." Alex sat up as he saw something in the distance. It was a vehicle. He stood up and began to wave his arms around in an atempt to flag them down. The vehicle turned and drove towards him. It was a giant grey armored thing on wheels. You don't have those on Earth thought Alex as it came to a stop. A door opened on the side and four men stepped out of it.

"Hi, my name's Alex...." he began. One of the men held up a hand to cut him off. The other three held up gun-like objects. Alex held his hands above his head. He froze in fear. The three men walked up and tied his hand behind his back and shoved them into the vehicle. It was then that something his him hard in the back of his head, sending him into a deep sleep.

When he awoke he was in a room. It actually looked more like a jail cell than a room. The bars that prevented him from leaving added to the jail cell appearence. He sat up and looked around to see that he was the only prisoner in the cell. He walked over to the bars and looked around. There was a hallway with numerous other cells outside.

"Where am I!" he yelled as loud as he could. One of the guards walked over and pushed him away from the bars.

"You belong to us now." said the guard," As of now you are enjoying a nice stay in Outlaw's prison." Alex fell to the ground. He shook his head and stared at the ground. Where is the other chosen who is supposed to help me? he thought.

"Cheer up." said the guard," You're scheduled to be executed tommorrow anyway." The guard laughed and walked off. Alex's eyes widened. He stood up and ran to the bars, attempting to free himself.
