Rep Power: 1 ![]() | This is KH fanfic which is a separate continuity featuring a story of the Organization and a new Keyblade Master. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ /Prologue\ Child of Naught In the silver halls of the Castle That Never Was walked twelve figures wearing leather, hooded black cloaks with zippers at various points upon the cloaks. Their footsteps echoed throughout as they walked in union. These twelve were known as the Organization XIII. Their last member wasn't found yet. Once they found a Nobody suitable to join the Organization, Xemnas, the Superior, would name him and adopt him as one of them. The group entered the throne room, warping to the thrones of various lengths. Xemnas sat upon the highest throne still covered by his cloak but recognized by his juniors. "Xemnas," one spoke with an impatient tone. "Are you sure he's awoken yet and you just can't find him...?" "Patience, Axel!" Xemnas scolded him. "He'll be here soon. Don't worry, we'll have ourselves XIII in no time." The second-in-command, Saix, opened his mouth. "Superior, I and Axel shall search for him Twilight Town, give the hothead to cool off for a bit." "Very well," the senior Nobody nodded. "Hurry yourselves." The two hooded males dropped to the center of the circle creating a Corridor of Darkness. The two removed their hoods showing their faces. Saix was a tan man with long sapphire colored hair, shining yellow eyes, and an X scar upon his face, his most predominant feature. Axel was a teen with long wild scarlet hair and twin purple reverse teardrops under each eye. The two step through the corridor of twisting dark and arrived in the Central Station within the clocktower of Twilight Town. Meanwhile, a young man at least of age 15 sat on the edge of the top of the tower, at the side of the clock facing the majority of the town. He bore slate gray spiky hair and eyes that reflected the eternal sky of Twilight Town. His attire consisted of midnight blue longsleeve shirt with an unzipped black, sleeveless jacket above it and blue jeans with a few tears here and there but otherwise in good shape. He had no name for he was a Nobody, one without a heart or any existence whatsoever. He was spawned from someone of the light who lost their heart but kept hope in the light. This teenager's existence was unknown to him and who he was had become a mere memory. Silently, he walked down to Central Station and left to a vending machine. He arrived in this town a day ago and since then found some money for purchase of a few items. He took a candy bar and walked out the station pass Axel sending a sharp pain to the other's head. "Axel!" Saix called out when he noticed he was in pain. "You all right?" "Horrible!" Axel cried. "I felt the guy pass me by and his nothingness is so strong. You have to find him, Saix. I'll report back to HQ." Saix sent him off in a Corridor of Darkness and proceeded to chase after the boy. The Nobody felt Saix's threatening presence behind him and gave a difficult chase to him. In his short time here, he found alleyways to escape the wrath of the infamous Disciplinary Committee headed by Seifer. The Luna Diviner dashed off after the boy, quickly adapting to any change of path by the possible recruit. The Nobody lost him in the woods which connected Twilight Town to the Old Mansion. Saix stayed calm and listened for any sound and quickly went to find him only to fail. He turned to the way to the Old Mansion and saw the kid disappear out the woods. Saix dashed there and cornered the boy at the mansion gates. The Nobody was soon confronted with the servants of Saix, the Beserker. They were hulking bronze colored Nobodies carrying claymores just as their master. "Cease your running," he spoke. "I mean no harm to you. I just need to speak with you for a minute..." "Leave me alone!" the boy shouted at him. "A brave one. Tell me, from your first day here, did you feel empty; did you feel out of place; did you yearn for a purpose? Come with me for the Organization XIII has a purpose for you..." The boy charged at him angry. "Shut up!" Saix thought the boy would simply punch him but he drew forth enough strength to draw a Keyblade, the Two Across Keyblade. He struck Saix back and the Beserkers surrounded him ready to batter his face in. The Luna Diviner signaled for them to stop and approached the unknown Nobody and placed his hands upon his shoulders ready to begin the ceremony meant to name him and induct him into the Organization. "My boy," Saix began. "It's time to name you..." Unlike other naming ceremonies, the Nobody's true name didn't appear. "I see, you're different. I suppose we'll name you something regardless. How about Sven?" "Sven seems just fine..." the boy said as the cloak of the Organization replaced his normal attire as the two were taken to Xemnas. "Welcome XIII," Xemnas greeted. "This is your new life; your new purpose." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ /Chapter 1\ Connected Day slowly dawned upon the world of Destiny Islands. At the mainland, many childen were awake wishing to do as much as they could during the summer. Amongst them was a group of three children who were already at the island they used for their free time. Their names were Naomi, Kaidan, and Raz and they were the sort of leaders to the children of Destiny Islands. However, today would be much more different from running the island. In their treehouse sat Naomi, a 14 year-old girl and the unofficial island leader. Her hair was a teal color and her eyes were amber. She wore a red midriff and a black skirt. She was waiting for her two "advisors" who were getting ice cream. "Hurry, it'll melt!" complained the blond-haired Kaidan. Raz shoved him. "It's sea-salt ice cream duncecap! It doesn't melt. I wonder why the boss likes it, it's too salty." They climbed the ladder to the treehouse careful not to drop the ice cream bars they carried. They dumped the treats on the floor of the treehouse which was littered with sea-salt ice cream wrappers. Naomi took one from the pile and quietly ate it. The two boys felt a little worried because she was usually a talkative type of person. Being quiet wasn't natural for her. There was a deep silence as the three ate the ice cream. "So," Kaidan sighed. "What's with you, mistress?" "Nothing," she lied in a somewhat harsh tone. They spent a few minutes in silence until Naomi ordered them to follow her. She left down the ladder and ran off down the beach. The boys dropped down onto the sand and rushed after her to the small island with the bent tree and the one bearing Paopu Fruit. Their leader sat on the bent tree and watched the ocean move peacefully while she examined a Paopu fruit. Kaidan sat on her left and Raz on her right. Raz looked at the girl and realized she was halfway to tears but speaking of it was going out of term. "Tell us what's wrong," he said urging her to talk. Naomi hit him in the shoulder. "Tomorrow's our last day of summer, guys." Kaidan nodded. "But we'll see each other at school, right...?" "You two will. I'm going to a private school on the island. I'll be at the place but please leave me alone for a bit." She walked across the bridge to the cave known as the Secret Place leaving the boys to talk amongst themselves. Kaidan picked a Paopu Fruit from the tree's branches as he and Raz began leaving the spot and off to play with the other children. Before leaving, Kaidan tossed Raz the fruit. Raz caught the fruit and wondered what the occasion was. "What's this for?" Raz questioned him. Kaidan chuckled. "Cheer her up. Your mom told you about the legend, right?" "Yeah..." He said and left to catch up with Kaidan. Meanwhile, Naomi sat in the cave looking at the pictures etched by some of the kids there and those before them. However, a new drawing was on one of the walls depicting a the faces of two people, one was her and the other was a face unfamiliar to Naomi. She sat down fiddling with a rock used for drawing such pictures. She turned her head to the door at the far end of the cave. It was made of ash wood and rimmed with bronze. There had been no doorknob until today. The girl rose to her feet and slowly touched the knob. She turned and pull causing the door to creek slowly. She was knocked down to the cave floor by an invisible force and was approached by a figure in a grey cloak filled with rips. He knelt down and looked at the girl, his eyes hidden in his personal darkness. "Who are you?" were the only words Naomi could say before the stranger disappeared. As the door closed, a frigid wind poured in forcing the girl into sleep. By night, the children of the island were gathering for a party on the same island they played upon. Raz sat near the water letting it wash over his feet. He wore a black tank top and blue baggy shorts for this event. Kaidan showed up and stood beside his brother. He came wearing a black dress shirt and black slacks. He noticed his little brother was holding the same Paopu he gave him earlier. "You gonna give Naomi the thing or what?" Kaidan asked anxiously. Raz sighed. "I can't even find her." "She's in the treehouse. I found her at the Secret Place taking a nap earlier. She said she's looking for something right now. Go and help her. You never know what happens, Rasputin." Raz nodded and walked through the crowd to the treehouse clutching the Paopu tight enough to hold onto but not enough to ruin it. He climbed the wooden ladder thinking of the moment where the legend would be their own to carry out. Upon sharing it, they'd become intertwined with the other's destiny for all eternity. When he reached the top, he hid it behind his back and only watched Naomi pack some things up. "Where you going?" he asked interested. "Leaving, Destiny Islands," she said quickly. "I'll find another world just like we always wanted to do, you know, just like our parents told us..." "Before you go," Raz spoke attempting to be strong. "May you do something with me?" "And that would be...?" "To share a ---" Kaidan called out. "Raz! Naomi!" The two came outside to find themselves in the midst of a storm terrorizing the islands. The sky had fallen to pitch black and spat thunder and lightning. The odd thing was that most of the children disappeared yet their boats were still there. Raz rushed to the little island to see if anyone else was with them on that very island. Kaidan himself scanned the beach. That's when this world fell to the darkness. Kaidan was soon encircled by crawling darkness with beady yellow eyes, the Heartless. They covered him and swallowed him into darkness. Naomi ran to his brother and watched as he too was being covered in slithering dark. Raz extended his hand holding out the Paopu Fruit to Naomi. It fell to her feet as the darkness tore into Rasputin. The girl rushed to pull him out only to have him fade in her arms. The same beings that took Kaidan arrived to take her just as well. The Destiny Islands were engulfed in black and left to the small island. Before the Heartless could take Naomi with her, the same stranger from earlier arrived wielding a blade shaped like a black key from the dark, the Oblivion. He dispatched the monsters and approached Naomi. "Your world has been connected," he spoke handing her a white blade, the Oathkeeper. "This is a Keyblade, this your light. Come now, there is much for us to do. I must teach you and you must find your friends." Naomi examined the blade. "The Keyblade..." The two faded in the pitch black darkness leaving the swallowed Destiny Islands thus beginning another story. Last edited by Xth; 06/04/08 at 02:42 AM. |
