Is it too late to be a Beta Reader? Don't really hang around the Literature section much, but I figure that if I read and Beta stories, I might improve on my own stories and writing skills while also helping the fellow writer. So anyway, may I be a Beta Reader, All-Star?

Sorry guys, But things with this thread have just gone down hill really fast. I'm actually just thinking of Scraping it all and starting again from scratch. Maybe if a little Brainstorming is done, Something that is really, truely benificial can be made. But for right now, I think it's been a bust. I'm leaving it open for right now though until I hear back from somebody.

I see what you mean. It does seem like this has become more of a story advertisement thread than a literary aid one. Perhaps it would be better to make a Beta-Readers thread purely for stories/chapters that haven't been posted yet. That way, it is less likely that it turns into a "story-spam" thread.

On the subject of new threads, I would think that a thread specifically made for brainstorming story ideas/plots would really aid writers (especially those with writer's block). It could also get collaborations started for those who would be interested. Although, we'd have to make sure that contributors understand that it would be something of an idea bin to pull from and give to. Otherwise, there could be problems with copyright.
