Default Has anyone taken the GED? Need help.

I'm taking mine soon, and I think I'll be good on everything except math. Which is strange, because all throughout high school I was really good at math. But now, I can't remember a DAMN thing. :( I just wanna know if it's hard, and what should I be studying exactly for it.

I believe it's different for every district. I would suggest to go to your proffesor to see what the biggest key points on the GED test will be.

I've never took a GED test. I opted for homeschooling on my senior year of HS loved it. Ended up finishing the year one semester early and still ended up going to the graduation at the regular HS on June of 09. It was grand!

So that would be my advise. Or go to your local library and check out of GED help books, They usually have a great section of it on the shelves. Good luck :P

But I use that word loosely.

My mother took her GED and said that it was actually pretty easy. She even only went to highschool for one year, 9th grade, and was able to pass. So I doubt it will be too hard. As long as you did fairly well in school, you will be fine. But I do suggest looking for some books that could help you on your GED. A couple of ACT books will help too since they also make you take math bits. But that's just me.

Good luck on the GED test!

You live in Arizona too? I would recommend taking some GED classes before you take the test, I went through a program that payed for the test and everything, the test ranges form $70-$95 depending on where you test, I had to take classes for several months to brush up on my math skills,
I went HERE but that might be a bit far for you, so just look online and find some places near you.

    Good luck.
