I don't know, the story is not supposed to be that deep.

it showed at the end of kh1. but not his mom....she is a very very minor character..........

Its kind of funny actually; none of them seem to care that much for their parents, b/c none of them went searching for their parents when Destiny Islands was destroyed, they just went looking for eachother.
But, just like Tidus, Selphie and Wakka, when the Islands were restored, so were the parents too obviously, even though they have little relevance to the story. More than likely they just temporarily turned into heartless or escaped to other worlds, then returned when the Islands returned.

Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka we know returned because of the credits of kh1, Sora's mom doesn't really matter at all to the story

wow I can't believe how many topics are about sora's mom. Not to be mean or anything but it is kinda getting as old as "is kingdom hearts final mix coming to armerica?" O well like the other million people that answered the question said. Who knows.

The island that Sora Riku and Kairi were on was just a play island for children, the heartless probably just wanted the door that was in the secret place... point being, Sora's mom, Waka Selphie and Tidus were on the other "home" island

I thought, in some strange event, that his mother because a permanent heartless, and in KHIII she would be a boss.

Why do we need to find out? We should be worrying about the real story of Kingdom Hearts, right? Like Sora's adventures and KHIII! But anyway, i really don't care about his mom.
