Default (Confused) I have a few questions?
How does someone open the door to darkness? Once the DTD is revealed, is a keyblade needed to open it, or does it just open for you? Also, are there 2 Kingdom Hearts? One is after (or was it in? *forgot*) the Realm of Darkness and the other one was what Xemnas was trying to create, I think?
Once a person finds kingdom hearts, I know they're supposed to be granted power and all that, but how do they actually obtain that power? Is there something they have to do once they find/complete Kingdom Hearts?

Help would really be great. (:

The 7 Princesses of Heart are needed to unlock the Door to Darkness, IIRC.
Xemnas's Kingdom Hearts wasn't real..
I think Xemnas was planning to merge with it. I'm pretty sure he did at the end of KH2. His Kingdom Hearts wasn't completed,though. So it didn't have the desired effect.

It seems it just opens for you. Though to be fair, Xehanort probably is a Wielder, so the Door opening at the end of KH1, especially with Sora who does have a Keyblade around, isn't surprising.

As Erauqs said - Xemnas's KH was artificial. He created it by gathering together Hearts released from Emblem Heartless by the Keyblade.

It seems, going by the Organization's goals, that such power is achieved by fusing with it. Seeing how KH is a big great Heart, one could absorb it, arguably. Something along the lines of Sora having Kairi's Heart inside him and Riku being possessed by XH.

I thought the 7 princesses just revealed the pathway to Kingdom Hearts through the DTD, but I was confused on how someone actually gets inside. xP

You're assuming there's one "real" Kingdom Hearts, something we know not if it's true or not. "The Heart of all Worlds". It could've been created from Hearts of worlds consumed by the Heartless or something, and then it'd be almost as 'artificial' as Xemnas's.
Also, Xemnas didn't really want to regain his Heart. He wanted more the power that came from it, especially if that Heart was Kingdom Hearts,

Going by KH1, they are what reveals the pathway. They're the ones that summon the door. All of that was said in KH1. As for how you open it... well, your guess is as good as mind but I'd assume Keyblades have to do with it.

^^"" Hehe. But basically..... In a nutshell: Kingdom Hearts is just the "Heart of everything" that someone can fuse with to obtain its power.... And then no one else could gain the same power afterward, right? *sweatdrop* Or else it would be pointless who gets to it first, I think? @_@
