Destiny island keyhole

i was thinkin and i thought of the key hole at the island and found out that it is in the secret place.
when sora is remembering stuff in kh1 he is talkin w/ riku in the secret place and when they leave riku looks back and on the door and sees a key hole. so it was in the secret place door. any thoughts?

Yep, that was where the keyhole was. And since Riku was supposed to have the Kingdom Key he was able to see the unlocked door. Later at the start of KH1, Riku would open the door in hopes of going to other worlds.

so he did use the KK to unlock the door ?

It's never said, but I don't think he summoned the weapon and opened the door, I think it was more like how Xehanort opened the door to his world. He found the door and was able to unlock it due to the keyblade using ability in his heart.

This is confusing.. does this mean Riku knew about keyblades and stuff before sora? :S

alrigt i thouught so but this sight says we can only asume where it is and i didnt know if its reaealed to be true in any kh games cause ive only got half done w/ hollow bastion on the first game. i spent months going through used games at game stop and finally found one that worked.

no he only had the power he didn't know about it. although when sora was in travers town (before he met donald and goofy) riku might have known about is friends power. also we don't know when he knew about everything exactly, only that it was in between destiny island and hollow bastion.

Nope, that's it alright, in the Secret Place. The one we saw in Riku's flashback, and iirc, on the night of the storm as well.

I doubt Riku knew exactly everything. Maleficent basically told him that in order to give Kairi back her Heart, that they'd need Kingdom Hearts, and the Keyblade. :\

I well reckon they should either do a game, or like release some kind of manga from the POV of Riku in KH1, that'd be really interesting, like hear his true thoughts, understand why he managed to let darkness consume him, things like that :)

I don't think Riku exactly knew he was using the power of the keyblade when he opened the door.
