They borrowed the names from the Final Fantasy series, for example Ragnorok is the name of the air ship in Final Fantasy VIII.

he's probably basing it from Old English or Latin or something and mixes some modern English.

Ragnarok is apparently a series of epic events in Norse Mythology that results in stuff like death of gods, etc. Yeah, and really lots of deaths of gods, apparently they knew it too. Here, look at this link HERE.

As for Ars Arcanum, no idea where that comes from, the first few pages of google don't reveal much on it and I'm lazy to go further, so go figure. Probably just some random word that sounds like pirate slang.

Okay, I did a little research on the subject. xD Yeah, I've been wondering the same thing for a long time...

I know that Ragnarök is an event foretold in Norse mythology in which the Gods all have this huge clash and it results in many deaths (as Grimmedslug above me said) and the ultimate destruction of the world. >_> I guess Sora's THAT powerful.

And Ars Arcanum is apparently Latin. "Ars" means "art" (like a technique) and "Arcanum" means "secret" or "something only known by a few people." I suppose you could say, then, that "Ars Arcanum" means "secret art." :3

That is all. I hope it helped!

Edit: The pronunciations are [RAG-nuh-ROCK] and [AHRZ AHR-Kah-noom] if you wanna get technical.

Gee thanks dude. I haven't played for seven frikin years, and have basically shuned KH since then, until now. BBS is getting me going again, it looks like it could bring the series back.

Also, i know where ars arcanum came from. Shouldn't have insulted me there. haha
