How old were you when you first learned about kh? - Page 3

My story of how KH found me was:

I was 8 years old back in 2002. (My lucky number, 8).

I was walking through the mall when suddenly this woman was giving out demos of KH.

My mum said, "Would you like to get one, Brandon?"

I said "Nah, I want my ice-cream".

She says "It's free, Brandon, go on you might regret it."

I say "Ok, then but after I want my ice-cream."

So I go to the woman and ask her can I have a copy. She says "You're very lucky, I've only got one copy left.

She gives it to me and I say thank you.

So I go home and play the demo (It was all just a trailer). I say "Wow, that's a cool game!"

But I went to sleep forgetting pretty much everything about game.

Next week I go to GAME to look at the new games. (Only to look at, lol)

My mum walks in and says "Brandon, isn't that the game that nice lady gave us the demo for?"

I said "I dunno, wait yea!"

She says "Brandon, I've just been to the bank, If you want I'll just buy you the game".

I said "Nah, Can I go home?"

Mum says: "Brandon, if I were you i'd buy it"

I say "Amm... ok then, OH WAIT HERE'S THE NEW POKEMON, I want this game instead!"

Mum sighs and then says "Fine Brandon, let's just buy the game and go home".

So I go up to the counter and a siren goes off or something and the clerk says:
"Kingdom Hearts has just been announced Platinum and is half price for one day only (or something like that).

My mum says "Brandon, if you buy KH, you'll have enough money for an ice-cream."

I say "WHAT!!!"

I grab the last KH and throw the Pokemon to the ground, (it was the one I grabbed because my mum kept it in her hand thinking I would change my mind anyway, good ol' mum) and buy the game.

I was soo happy, so I turn to my mum and say "Can I have an ice-cream!"

She says "No, we're going home!"

I couldn't get past Traverse Town because of my youth and I broke the game, cant remember how but 5 years later, 13 (coincidence). I bought the game and absolutely loved it and that's my story of how Fate brought me and KH together.

I found out about the game at 11. My dad wanted to try out ebay for the first time, he saw a popular game named "kingdom hearts", and decided to buy it. At first i was angry. But when i played the game. I thought it was the best game ever.

It was 2004 when I heard about it. I was 10, so I was in like 4th grade I think.

Actually, that got me to thinking though, right after I heard about it and before I cared to check the game out, I was walking through a movie store at the mall with my dad, and I saw this KH T-shirt. It was red and all the characters were dressed up Halloween Town style. I saw it and I was like "...That's a REALLY weird shirt. But I think I've heard if this before..."

Funny how stuff comes back to haunt you like that

I was 8 and at my friend's house. Her mom and dad played a lot of PS2 and there were a bunch of games on the shelves. So my friend asked if I had ever played Kingdom Hearts. I said no but I'd try it. I liked playing it but my mom picked me up right after I beat the Darkside and so when I was 10 my aunt bought me KH2 for my b-day.

wow awesome story forbiddenmemory! lets how did i learn about it, well i remember seeing it on tv and thinking, wtf? this is really weird, then i went to my friends house later that day and he was like YOU GOTTA TRY DIS GAME RIGHT NOWS! So i tried it out, it intriqued me so much i borrowed his ps2 from him and i thought i was really far when i got to wonderland lol, wow i was stupid, and since i didnt have a ps2 when i finally got one in 2005 that was my first game, and i have adored the series ever since

Eight or Nine i bought it when i got my PS2, got it like the week it came out and bought KH2 day it got in store.

I was 5 or 6 when I first heard about Kingdom Hearts,and I REALLY hated it. I dunno why though,I just did. Then in good ol' 2007 when I went over to my best friends house,I saw KH2 in the PS2 and I asked if we could play it and I fell in love with it as soon as the opening song started. :)

lolz I was 12 when it came out, I was at one of my frnds who had just bought a bunch of ps2 games, I happened to like the cover of the game and how the characters and font looked XD so I urged him to try it...and I LOVED it =D. A couple of months later I bought my own ps2 and Kingdom hearts was the First Ps2 game I got XD...Can't help but Love this awesome series ^ ^

I was 12 when I first played it. I got it from my cousin who hated it after I was at his house and I saw the cover and I was like "Ooo what is this?" and he said "The worst game ever. You can have it." Something like that.

I was like 7 and I asked for KH for Christmas, and then I got it. My older brothers claim it was their game and they're the ones that got it but i guess I'll nerver know lol. Then when CoM came out for the sp i asked for that for christmas, and my mom was like "you laready have that game!" and when I tried to explain it wa different she was just like "what else do you want?" that was a dissappointing christmas xD I heard about kh2 when it came out but i didint want another re-run of "its the same game!!!!!" so i never played it. but then a few months ago i was on youtube and saw the opening and I was like "crud I need this game!" so I convinced my dad to make an account and let me buy it on ebay xD been obsessed with kh ever since. now im saving up for a ds (roxas is my favorite character lol) so i can play 385/2 days and trying to find out from my brother if he still has is psp
