Eh... My theories(And yes I know they are very closely related to others.)

1.)She was looking for a safe place to hide.

2.)She was aware taht Riku was Trying to open the door and was attempting to stop(Join?) him.

3.)She was looking for one of the two boys for the sake of safety.

Take it or leave it. :/

she's a princess of heart. it's a keyhole to the heart of the world. why wouldn't she be there. i mean, it was probably a subconcious thiing, cause she couldn't remember anything about where she came from.

I think that's kinda irrelevant seeing how it didn't happen right after she got there, but a good decade afterwards.

yeah, but right before that happened, they were asking her about how she couldn't remember anything.

sora-"So, you can't remember anything about where you came from?"
kairi-"nope.nothing"

sorry if something was missing or added with out it being there ,but that was the basic gist of whhat they said.

It still doesn't matter, since if anything moved her subconsciously, it's being a Poh, imo, not the Memories of her world she couldn't recall.
Also, that scene always seemed peculiar to me :\ Kairi was happy right where she was and just shrugged at the mention of her home. It was going to see it, not stay there, and the journey as a whole was more to see other worlds in general with Kairi's home having an understandably higher value for visiting.
I kinda blame Sora on the notion that this was to get to Kairi's home though, more than either Kairi or Riku who just wanted an adventure off the Islands with Sora. It fits in with her being the girl that washed on shore at the night of the meteor shower.
That, and a plot device, of course, seeing how she is Radiant Garden's PoH, but still.
Meh. Even Nomura said her Memories from "back home" were uninteresting.

I think she might have been looking for Riku and when he found it,Riku opened the door and the darkness took her body and left a ghost of her :/

Had the door been opened, the world would've fallen a lot sooner. It flung open only when Kairi disappeared, which was what even initiated her Heart leaving the body.

thats what i meant. since she had no memories, why would she be motivated to even go there? she went there subconciously cause she is a PoH

NO.
I cannot stress this enough.
Kairi has only one Nobody, and even that Nobody came from Sora.
To top it all, the door did take her body XD that's what happened.

The door opened.
The Darkness burst out.
Kairi lost her Heart.
Heart moved to Sora.
Body reappeared elsewhere, only without having became a Nobody - for the Heart didn't become a Heartless.
