Which do you prefer? KH I or KH II? - Page 3

Kingdom Hearts 1 was a whole lot better than the second one.
Kingdom Hearts 1 had a lot of challenge and fun. Great storyline too.
Kingdom Hearts 2 was pretty good, but it was way too easy to defeat.

I found it easier to relate to the storyline in the original, and the feel of the game appeals more to me personally.
KH II was easier than KH in my opinion. Too easy. Of course that could be because I had completed KH. The summons got worse and the story seemed to lack feeling. Although, the graphics are better, it's longer and the whole game system has been improved. But the best bit of KH II would have to be the major improvement of the Gummi Ship levels.
But in the end, I still enjoyed the original Kingdom Hearts more than Kingdom Hearts II.

^I wouldn't say you did, Tbopi, I echo your sentiments ;), the first game appeals to me more on a personal level as well, I found it had a charm the second one lacked.

KHI had a better story, better gameplay, and it seemed like more thought was put into the worlds.

kh 1 was better to me than kh2 although kh2 isn't bad. kh 1 had the better storyline and a play by play story. kh 1 had sora trying to save kiari from malifcent and ansem. it was him fighting his way up through the castle, and then the whole sora into a heartless just made it awesome, kh2 had the same fortay of saving kiari, but just how it was played out ruined it. i like how kh you have to think alittle bit on what your trying to do in the boss battles, you can't just button mash like kh2, plus the difficulty in kh i found harder. Everyone says that kh2 had a darker storyline and a much more mature story line, well... i beg to differ, kh2 had a deeper story due to the org 13 and roxas, with some more twist, but if you about it, everyone is helping everyone, theres no one trying to hurt anyone unless they need to, once sora went after the org 13 to get kiari, then the org tried to hurt sora, even malificent was helping??, kh 1 had good vs. evil. saving a loved one, ur friend turning on u, i think kh was soposed to pointed to a young adience unlike kh2 which came a few years later.

Haley Joel Osment's voice was still in the awkward, puberty changing stage, hence the higher voice.

When KH2 came around, his voice in life got deeper and more stable, so it sounded a little better in KH2.

Though I kinda miss that childish voice. It just made the first game seem friendlier, because Sora actually sounded like a little kid trying to understand something so big and magnificent.

Kingdom Hearts is better because there's more stuff in it, and more side missions, and my favourite of all, for when I just can't seem to beat a hard boss with a long intro, (Demyx in Hollow Bastion) there is the SKIP SCENE feature! It saved so much time than that cursed final Riku fight in KH1 just before Sora stabbed himself. I can rehearse that scene when I turn 40! I'll never forget it because it took SO DANG LONG!!!!
