Which do you prefer? KH I or KH II?

I prefered KH1 as well, I like the slower-paced combat as it was nice to be able to see what you were doing and how the enemies would act. I love how it gives you a chance to see their behaviour as you're battling them. I couldn't find any of this much in KH2 since you can clear a room full of enemies in a few seconds.

I liked the way the story progressed in KH1, and I liked the characters, but in KH2, I don't know, I found that they all became lame. Basically going to a world consisted of Sora asking "Did you see any nobodies or ppl in black coats or Riku?" and when the characters he asked answered no, it was like: "Oh, well that's okay, we'll stay and beat the boss of this world just for the heck of it." At least that's what it felt like to me.

Also, they took away my absolute favourite world in KH2...Neverland *sniff* :'(

KH1 is definitely better then KH2. The harder difficulty and the better choice of voice actors made it better then KH2.

out of the 2, i'd say KHII.

i like KH b/c it was a challenging game and the storyline was great. most of the worlds i liked to play in.

but i like KHII more because the storyline was better, more worlds to choose and enjoy, and some of the battles were challenging as well. (mainly Xaldin lol)

both games are great though ^^

KH1 is much better than KH2. I liked KH2 too though, but I expected more...

i have no idea which one is better both are good in their own way. in kh1 i liked how it was harder, how the storyline wasnt so goofy and definitely darker and more mysterious, magic is much more useful (ie fire is way better), the slowmo thing after u beat bosses is tre cool, and of course ars arcanum. in kh2 the disney worlds were better and more fun and they used better disney movies too but atlantica was completely destroyed and the worlds take much less time to beat (whereas in kh1 the nondisney worlds are much better and cooler (ie HOLLOW BASTION), the control system is much better, gummi ship part is way better, sacrificed some good voice actors (billy zane) for other good ones (christopher lee), and graphics are better. so to sum it up, i have no idea lol

i luv both for diff reasons 1 has the difficulty level i expected in 2, but i find my self playing through kh2 more offen. i mean i beat kh2 28 times(on 29th)and kh1 9 times(big diff right?).so IDK

6.you can skip cutscenes

7.drive forms

9.gummi ship battles are improved

10.kingdom hearts 2 is a lot more fun and is just better than its predecessor

KHI is massively better then KH2 in so many aspects, it's hard to name them all. Basically, KH2 broke more then it fixed... The only things that are really better are the graphics and the camera controls.

i thought kh1 was ALOT better, i guess i kinda like the gameplay on one better because of drives and new skills, but i just can't STAND soras dialogue in two, it doesn't suit his voice, and in kh1 it wasn't as bad and it worked because his voice was still young, and the story it self has a lot more twists, turns and action, even the disney stories were awesome,

and rikus attitude sucks in kh2 xD

For me it just seems KH II is KH I with more crap loaded into it.

I would choose KH II just because there's more stuff to level up (forms) and the battle style was cooler.

I would probably more over to KH1.
KH2 was pretty easy and was faster to finish. Didn't really have that sorta of difficulty KH1 had.
IMO they're both pretty good.

I agree completely with everything you've said, lol. I've been trying to put into words what I felt about KH1's quality over KH2 and this is it.

Also, I've noticed a lot of people saying that KH2 was longer. Was it? I found it to be as long if not shorter than its predecessor. Although one thing I do agree with is that I enjoyed the ending a whole lot, the first one's ending didn't have much to offer, and I find it executed the cliffhanger kind of badly.
