Problem beating the Herc Cup time trial

I'm at lvl 55 with Sora, and I keep coming up short of time to beat Herc in the final match. I'd very much like to have some strategy tips on how to beat the cup, what settings I should use for Donal & Goofy, what spells to use myself and so on...

Right now, I've got everyobdy's inv stocked up with ethers, Goofy's doing special attacks and normal attacks equally much, Donalds attackign with offensive magic, and Sora's using Olympia on the weaker units, Gravira on the pirate ships, and Ars Arcanum as often as possible on Cloud and Herc...

Oh, and I'm on the expert setting...

k use
gravity on small guys
thunder on little guys
have the spellbinder or ladyluck equipped, or ultima if u have
ethers=good
u can use special moves on anything u want but save some magic 4 herc

hit lvl 100 and you'll have no problems lol. Seriously though, that's what I do when I have a problem. I go to the most difficult place and beat down some baddies.

level up to 60 use thunder on small fries use cure only on your self and potions on donald put goofy on special always look at all your keyblades find the one with the highest magical power and equip it.try to have half your mp at the most at the lowest have a quater of mp left AND SAVE BERFOR ENTERING so if you mess up you can start again with all your suplies. contact me if you have any problems

I still say go to the hardest place you can go and beat down every heartless you can.

Okay, there's a cheat about this, but it won't mess up your game, or anything. I've used it, like, ten times. It's like, when you get to Hercules, press start, and go to restart, and then the time will freeze. It's either for the entire game, or for Hercules. It's a glitch. You can find it on any cheat sheet about KH1, so look it up to be sure. It's really useful.

i'm glad someone notices the settings to customize for donald's and goofy's a.i. i would gladly help you. here's what i recommend you to put.

for donald's a.i.

regular attacks: constantly
offensive magic: frequently
defensive magic: constantly
advanced magic: occasionally
hp items: frequently
mp items: only in emergency

for goofy's a.i. uhh... wait make sure you equip at least all of the following abilities: mp rage x2, mp gift, and optionally mp haste.

regular attacks: constantly
special attacks: occasionally
shield techniques: frequently
support actions: constantly
hp items: only in emergency
mp items: frequently

for sora. equip "at least" these kinds of abilities: dodge roll, guard, counterattack, scan (optionally), mp rage, second chance, sonic blade, ars arcanum, strike raid, and ragnorak.

cure, aero, and gravity are magics you'll need the most.

there... now it'll be fun. lol...

If you have problems beating herc, then just hack at him with aero, when he spins then fly around and dodge roll, when he is glowing and posing then hit him with barrels and hack at him. Also after his spins, he is dizy so hack at him. In conclusion, hack at him with aero, hack at him when he is vulnerable, and run away when he is invulnerable. Another thing, if you are having trouble beating the heartles, then do the wimpy thing of dodge rolling around, and pushing triangle contantly, and have donald and goofy have constantly on the settings. The triangle thing makes them fight the heartless that has a target symbol. Have fun!

use thunder and spellbinder or ultima keyblade
have either elixers or ethers (i prefer elixers though harder to get)
get to lv.100 and youll have no problem what-so-ever
the real chalenge is hades time trial GOD ____ THAT HARD!
