Was Ansem originally a Sephiroth "clone"?

I was listening to music on my PSP (My day has been a total bore), and got to thinking, "Wow, Xehanort/Ansem and Sephiroth look alike." It should be quite obvious.

1) They have long hair.
2) They have white hair.
3) They both wear black clothing.
4) In their "final forms", they are both connected to an uberly-large creature/monster/thing.
5) They are the main antagonists of their respective games.

But I can agree that can be one of the many KH characters that looks like a FF character...

Well, yeah, that's what I meant... I didn't mean, "Did they try to make him be all badass and stuff?" I just meant did they purposely make Ansem look like Sephy.

Pay attention to the game, genius. Ansem was the Heartless split of Xemnas.

Fanboys need to stop find reasons to say FFVII and Kingdom Hearts intertwine plots.

Those are just similarities. They aren't clone-related in any way, plus Xehanort is more BBS with MX.

Both are very similiar, but no they aren't in anyway related.

Yes they are very similar in look. Me and my friends use to joke that Ansem/Xehanort was Sephiroth's younger brother who never amounted to anything and Riku was his (Sephy's) illegitimate son. However it should be noted that they are all designed by Nomura.

I know they aren't related, and I know that the KH1 Ansem was actually Xehanort's Heartless.

Like I said, I just think they purposely made him look like Sephiroth. I never said FF7 and KH were related storywise. You would have known that if you read my other post.
