You know, I really didn't pay attention to the fact that Sora's just a 14 year old (Then 15 year old) holding a gigantic key like a sword.

God, when I look back, I think of myself as an idiot and laugh at myself and the game.

To the OP... yes, if you look at it this way, the whole KH setup revolving around Sora sounds pretty stupid. Then again, as many people here will surely confirm, some of this can be easily overlooked because of the awesome gameplay.

Besides, of course Disney avoids putting anything that even remotedly looks like violence into a kid's game. That'd ruin their image badly. So they had to invent other ways of substituting the lack of real violence, and this is what came out. We have a giant key that can be swung at heartless, and once they are physically beaten enough with it, they disappear in a black mist from the screen, and the world is okay. Oh and hooray, Sora gets sliced green and blue by Squall (a.k.a. Leon in-game), but magically he comes out of the battle with all his limbs attached, and not even a cut or two.

well i think the reason only 2 keyblade look like keys are cause they are the orginal ones and the other simply retained their powers but have different cause...well i could go all theory god on you but ill just say would like everyone having huge keys as swords??

would anyone hear be scared of a person robbing a bank with a giant key? nope, don't think so. disney wanted to have a non-threatening main character.

Well when I first watched the gameplay I thought so.
Then I went to play and my opinion about KH went directly to better way, haven't thinked about that later.

I don't care what it is. People have become so corruptive, that if there isn't violence, blood splattering off the walls and heads flying, then the game is stupid. Can't everyone just look as something as pure as this game and appreciate it for all that it is? You want violence? Go play Grand Theft Auto IV. You want to play a great game simple and clean? Play Kingdom Hearts. You don't have to agree, you can flame me if you wish- but it's you against the world of KH fans...hope you're ready

its disney everything for the most part in the first one is kinda huerous you first meet an figure out that your saving the world with donald and goofy and mickey go figure when in doubt Disney finds a way to make everything a litte more "goofy" than anyone really asked for lol
