Default Kingdom Hearts Novels/Mangas

I didn't exactly know where to put this thread, so if it's in the wrong section sorry haha, but anyways.

I know about all of the kingdom Hearts Mangas and crap, but I'm VERY confused about the Kingdom Hearts novel people are talking about. Is it just the manga? Or is it actually a book? with like few to no pictures in it?

if it is a book, I'm wondering if there has been any confirmation as to whether or not it's going to be translated into English??

Novels are actual books, yes. There's more than one. They're far superior to the manga, since it shows stuff that's not in the game (to my knowledge that's what it comprised of, mostly), with a high level of canocity.

And yes, they'll supposedly be released in english, but I don't remember when. Go check Amazon.

I think the novels should be coming out this May or July... but they were supposed to come out last August. >:( So who knows if they will come out on time. I sure hope so, 'cause I want to read them too! ^.^

In my opinion the manga's are quite good. The artistic level might not be the best, but they still are enjoyable nevertheless.

And yes, the Kingdom Hearts novels are supposed 'quite the read'.

My opnions on the manga.

It was decent.

I love how they went through the story but it was too short IMO.

i wanted more action though..

We busted our asses trying to beat some bosses but they take two panels in the manga.

=/

I'm actually hoping for a decent level novel, something more advanced then 'middle school'.

Obviously you've never tried to make a comic (or in this case manga) that thick. When you put all 4 of the first series together it's thicker than the 5th Harry Potter book. ZOMG.

Seriously, it takes me about 2 hours to do an A4 page of chracters that I draw practically every day. It's not fun to do something that big.

No, I never said I did try to make a comic/manga? And I wasn't doubting the length of them?

On view is about twenty or so Kingdom Hearts manga on display at my local Anime/manga distributor, and yes the length is quite superb. What were you implying?

About the artistic level thing. If you want something done fast you gotta tone the art down. But then again, I'm not fluent in Anime, nor am I one of those super-fast peoples.

Well being the multi million dollar company Disney and Square Enix are. You'd think their artistic quality would be a breeze? After all, after they've done the first design, the rest is just print offs? And if they really cared about their quality, then they'd give it more effort?

The people who are professionals should be fast I 'spose, but the only thing I have against it is that Sora etc. look stupid and you can see the rough edges. I blame the guy who inks them for that last one.

Disney characters look OK, but that's because the Amano guy would have taken a dumb Disney tutorial class or something.

Then again, Disney is an easy thing to adapt these days, with all those stupid movies they make now. The ones with old Disney characters. Made new. And they look the same with better colouring. Except they usually suck.

I hate to wonder what Mickey's going to look like in about 10 years when they decide he needs a new hipper look. Designed by Raine Anderson.
