Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Okay, I'm not a KH newbie, I've beat the KH II multiple times, but recently I bought a used copy of Kingdom Hearts for PS2, and everything is working until I get to the snow white platform at the begining. Here's exactly what happens: I see the main menu of the game. I use my X button to start a new game. I put the mode on normal with vibrations on. So far so good. Then that scene with "Simple and Clean" playing comes on. I watch it all the way through. Sora lands onto the Snow White Platform. Still working fine. I see the instructions to walk and jump, and that works fine too. I see three pedestals, one with a sword, staff, and sheild. I jump onto one of these, and I see the "yes" and "no" options. My analog stick works fine, but here's m problem: I can't select either. My X button is working fine; it worked at the main menu. When I hit the O button, all it does it put the cursor on "no" and i end up stuck there. I know I'm supposed to hit X to select an option, but nothing happens. I've tried two different copies of this game (both from GameStop), and they both had the exact same problem. I've seen other forums with this same problem. Please help if you know what to do. ![]() |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Its worked for me using a different disk on a PS3, but it wasn't mine. Could it be that both of these disks were used?? |

| Keyblade Wielder | it very well could be that they were used. take them back to gamestop and tell them what happened they should give you your money back |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Well we tried that, but both the disks had the same issue. It's strange. But I will. It doesn't look like there's any scratches or anything; the disks seem to be in good shape. |

| Keyblade Wielder | do you think it could be a problem with the ps2's eye? eye=the thing that reads the disk |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I thought about that, but I put in my KH II and everything worked fine... It's a pretty new PS2, also. About a year old. Bought it new. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() ![]() | the games you might have gotten could probably be scratched up, thats' why it won't work. used games aren't the best to play with. most of the time there will be problems with them. if i were you, ask a friend who might have the game (make sure its not a used game) and borrow it and see if it works on your PS2. if it works, then there's definitely a problem with the used game you have. if you have the same problems, then it could be your PS2. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thanks! I'll try that... I know a friend with the game. And its new. It's odd though, that I read some forums on different sites talking about the exact same problem. |
