Default After you beat the game
can you still go back and do stuff, like fight in the tournaments and make the ultima weapon, and stuff? Or do I have to do all that before I fight Ansem?

You basically continue on from the game at the save point before the final fight. So no matter what you can beat the game numerous times. And always be able to travel around the worlds and compete in side quests, train etc.

Ony in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix does the game allow the player to save after the boss is defeated.

He's right, not that I own FM either.

I just beat it, and they're right, you can't save afterwards, which means any levels you gain in the final fights are useless. That sucks. Also, the beginning of the FM ending movie (with Riku and Roxas) is on KHI, but not the whole thing, for some reason.

That movie is called "Another Side, Another Story". The KH1FM secret movie is different in many ways from that one.

So this "whole thing" you're talking of is only on the Final Mix version of the game.

in KH1FM and KH2FM+ you can play the game after beating the final boss... no need to prove it cause anyone who read anything about the game knows that true...

I know, I'm saying the beginning of it is on the regular game, with Roxas walking up and pulling out the keyblades, Riku on top of the building, the crapload of shadows popping up, and then it ends with a shot who I assume is Kairi as an adult on the beach. In Final Mix, it continues on and shows Roxas fighting the shadows and then running up the building toward Riku.

yeah thats the secret ending movie. but still, its stupid that in all non final mix games you cant save after you beat da game. AND the song hikari plays FOREVER unless you turn the PS2 off. ITS GAY

on kh1 and kh2 after you beat the game and it shows you the stats on how you did you have to shut it down, it wont let you save.
