Default The Music of Kingdom Hearts

My thought is, half the reason the game is so good, is the beautiful music behind not only the first game, but also the second. What do you think?
Oh, and if anyone's interested....
I've been listening to the Kingdom Hearts music non-stop for the past three months now (yes, I'm aware that's incredibly dorky) and I've noticed that some of the slower songs have beautiful melodies that can easily have words inserted within them. So I gave it a go. I wrote lyrics to a few of my favorites, including Kairi, Always on my Mind and A Piece of Peace. Anyone care to read them?

lol i do that a lot. not non-stop, but i still listen to the music.

yeah i agree the music is beautiful. but, in my opinion, is that the music isn't half of why the game is so good, but only a part of why it is good. this is because a lot of things in the game add up to make it so good, like the characters, the plot, etc. music is yes, a key to it, but one of many keys that make the game so great.

some of my favorite pieces are March Caprice, the orchestra versions of the theme songs, Fantasia Alla Marcia, Hand in Hand (the one that plays at the end of KHII), and Dearly Beloved. so pretty ^^

Yes, I suppose it's just a part. But I suppose I'm such a musical freak that it'd be a main part for me. XD I love Dearly Beloved, March Caprice and Hand in Hand. I'm not as familiar with the music to the second game... I think I'm going to have to save some money for that CD as well.

I also think the best part of KH is the music. Yoko Shimmomura really knows how to put in just the right type of music for any scenario.
And tracks like Darkness of the Unknown, The 13th Reflection, and Lord of the Castle probably make her my favorite composer next to Nobuo Uematsu.

Yes, the music is carefully and brilliantly well-composed. Without the musics KH would lose most of that emotional feeling base it has, and to me KH is not just a game to be beaten, it is a story to be explored!
Sounds kind of poetic, don't you think?

Then consider me dorky as well. =]

Destati (the bonus track version) from the Kingdom Hearts 1 OST is just epic. But nothing beats Disappeared and Another Side (from KH1FM). ^^

The music is certainly one of the main factors why I like that game so much.

In my opinion,'The Other Promise' is the most beautiful track in the entire game

My father likes Roxas' themes so i'm sure that he likes 'The Other Promise' too.

I like the song 'He's a pirate' and 'Dearly beloved' the most. ^_^

Dearly Beloved is one of my favorites.

And Roxas makes me sad, it's one of the more emotional songs.

While the music is good, I hate how some later tracks (from KHII, KHII:FM+) sound too much like past tracks. I understand the composer was going for some motif and whatnot, but a lil diversity would be nice.
