Most of the music is what make the KH series. Without the music, it would be pret-ty boring. I wish I had all the sound tracks, I only have the first one! XP I'm hoping that I'll be able to get the complete soundtrack box when I get some more money.

all the music tracks seemed amazing except for that one... where you're on the gummi ship in kingdom hearts ii called cloudchasers, it was way too repetitive and not as creative as the rest.

~Of course songs of KH1 and 2 were just perfect and most suitable.Without simple and clean i could never cry a stream of tears while ending KH1...without always on my mind i could never had this melancholic feeling after ending the first game
Best choice for best game
Utada Hikaru for ever and ever...i am also very curious about BBS' songs x)

It certainly isn't dorky to listen to them over and over (if it is... consider me a complete and total dork... lol). I do it all the time... same with FF music (been obsessed with the Crisis Core OST as of late).

Heck, I've even gotten my dad to play some of the tracks on guitar and piano (he can play things without the sheet music.. he just needs to hear the song a few times. Which that ALWAYS amazes me... he needs to teach me how to play!)

Anyway... yes, music always sets the mood for anything... and the music for KH is perfect.

Yeps.. I really think the original intro got it for me. I remember actually, i was introduced to the game by disney channel back in 2002-2003 whenever it was. I remember seeing the idea of going to all the worlds, then i heard simple and clean. And it just really apealled to me. Then you know i think that without the music, and the music without the game, would leave each other not as good. Honestly i probably wouldn't had liked simple and clean/hikari as much if the game hadn't complemented it and given that extra emotional touch. same thing the other way around. And the music in game was also done beautifully.

The game was advertised on Disney? I n?)ever knew that....
Well, I had just finished CoM with my friends, and I heard the ending credits song (Simple and Clean Original), and it was great... and one thing led to another, so eventually I had the Remix, Hikari (Japanese version of Simple and Clean), Sanctuary (KH2 Intro), and Passion (KH2 Japanese intro).... XD

And I'm still not finished, they're still some of my favorite songs

But Utada Hikaru and Yoko Shikomura (? I could never spell her last name) are REALLY talented, I've tried playing some of their pieces on the piano, and it is pretty hard...
Imagine trying to compose them O.O

Oh, and if anyone's interested....
I've been listening to the Kingdom Hearts music non-stop for the past three months now (yes, I'm aware that's incredibly dorky) and I've noticed that some of the slower songs have beautiful melodies that can easily have words inserted within them. So I gave it a go. I wrote lyrics to a few of my favorites, including Kairi, Always on my Mind and A Piece of Peace. Anyone care to read them?
omg just friggen play the game. You'll get to know the music, and gets old after awhile. Seriously Traverse Town is the most freakin annoying song you will ever hear after playing 190375027604386 hours of that game.

I've always found KH's music, specifically the first one, to strike me as very well composed. Almost every song on the album scores have something to offer me, although they could sound considerably less midi-like.

Some of my favourites include: Hikari (orchestral version), Traverse Town, Monstrous Monstro, Under the Sea, March Caprice and Pirate's Gigue.
