Help with Kingdom Hearts 1 Story pleaseee

Alright...My first post lol.

So my friend leant me KH1 and I got pretty far( I think?) but then he had to move to Arizona so I had to give it back to him. Since then I've been dying to finish the rest of it but I also want time to beat KH 2 and hopefully 3 someday. I remember all the worlds I beat but I don't remember which one was the last one I was on. I beat the Jungle one , Alice in Wonderland , Jack Skellington , Pinokeyo.sp.. , part of the Arena. Would it be worth it for me to finish KH1? I read what happens to the rest in Wikipedia but would I still be missing some key parts if I skipped over to KH2 without beating KH1? I really love the story... If anyone wants to explain what happens in KH1 that would be fine to lol , although I don't really want to waste anyones time :\

Play the rest of Kingdom hearts 1, and then play Kingdom hearts: Chains of Memories for the Gameboy Advanced

Then you can play KH2

Well, the plot itself was alright. And there are some key parts that you haven't gotten to yet. But I'd probably just go do KH2 instead. Mostly because KH2 does flashbacks in the beginning that summarizes the ending of KH1. But it's your choice, really. :D

Thanks for the fast replies :) Yeah it's a hard choice..I really wanna see what happens in the rest of the story which is why I was leaning towards going to the second but if I did miss some key parts I'll probably continue the first.

lol is this in the wrong section?...nm....

well i never actually got to play kh1- i picked it up when kh:com came out (lol i caught on pretty fast)
but i guess it usually depends who you are- like for me (if i had it) i would play it if i were really bored and didnt feel like playing my kh2, FFXII, or loco roco

but i do suggest on finishing it if you want to learn more about the storyline...if you dont complete grasp it i mean

Yeah I beat FF8 , 9 , 10 and almost 7 so I though it was intresting seeing some of the charecters in Kingdom Hearts. I'll probably finish KH1 I guess and then go onto KH2 since I don't even have a PS3 for KH3 right now. I also thought this was the right section since I wasn't really asking for help on the game lol but sorry.

finish it hollow bastion is a great level with some cool fights
kh2 is amazingly good but kh1 has a better story line

Well you dont need to finish KH1 to understand KH2 because they do a recap with my fav character but It would help very much to do so. And dont play CoM its a waste of time on GBA its just stupid but if want go ahead and do it but the start of KH2 wont be all that fun if you do.

Apart from the hardest Riku battle you will ever face in KH:CoM, the card system is pretty good. I say emulate it if you don't want to buy it. As for Kingdom Hearts 1, finish the whole thing, it will be fun, you can even fight Sephiroth...

Good choice. You will see that it is much more worth it, as you know what has happened and have an idea of what the game will be like. If you didn't buy it, itss only $20 or less by now...

1. How can you not like the Voice acting of Billy Zane?
2. It's worth it in the end. If you're playing it for the first time, it gives you a sense of accomplishment.
3. Yes the key parts are better watched than read. Go finish.
4.Pinokeyo is actually spelled Pinocchio
5. Wikipedia is a fan made site. It souldn't be wise to trust them all the time. Wiki is like a underworld contact. Most times they're not lying, but just don't put too much faith in them.
6. Chain of Memories isn't a waste of time. While it is not crucial to playing the storyline, it is advised that you play it. You get to a certain point in KH2 and look in the journal, and say "Where did all THESE guys come from?"
7. The best time you'll have on KH1 is Hollow Bastion. Enjoy.

I had a feeling I spelt Pinocchio wrong thanks for clearing that up...Gonna buy KH1 today , keep hearing about Hollow Bastion sounds fun and yeah Wiki only told me some of the ending but I was leaning towards beating it since I still didn't really understand plus I really enjoyed it when I was borrowing it from my friend. So yeah gonna buy it later today and have fun.I"m not sure about Chain of Memories though since I've never really been a fan of gameboy games. Would you say it's as fun as the other KH games or if not still fun?

don't finish kh1 unless you have nothing to do and never play COM cause it's not even part of the story cause in kh2 COM had nothing to do in it, so only play kh2.
