did you check to see if the disk was scratched by the way?

it was just a thought... I had a simular problem with Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel... But the health bar was all the way down when it happened... I thought i'd sudjest it anyway.. ya never really know..

It may be the PS3. I don't have one, so I don't know. But the scratched disk theory sounds more likely.

Yeah...it looks like the disc may be scratched...<.< Though I've had far worse things happen with scratched discs (FFX freezes right after I finish this really tough boss fight).

Check the disc, check the PS3's disc slot/holder/etc. and check all connections. You never know. *shrug*

yea maybe its defective game or something your supposed to kill him by just hitting him with a finisher of any combo

The disc isn't scratched as far as I can see, it's only 4 days old

Well, that sucks. Thinkabout it though, it might be your game save thats the problem, not necessarily the disk. But thats definitley a glitch. Sorry that I cant help.

Someone on GameFAQs said they had the same problem and they are using a PS3, Sony's site says 'No known issues to date' so I might have just found one, I'll tell you if it works on the PS2, if it doesn't i'll execute my plan

I had the same problem, I was using a PS3 and what I did is to update the PS3 software and then it worked, I already finished tha hostil program.
