I don't get it...

In KH Sora turned into a heartless.WHY?
he had 2 hearts in him right? his and kairi's so when he freed kairi's heart he still had his heart so why did he turn into a heartless anyway?
could someone explain this to me?

if it's a dumb Q you can rape it and throw it away and forget about it...

hmm, you're right.. .i thought it was just to unlock people's hearts..

so, by 'unlocking' does that mean 'making someone a heartless'.??

..

or maybe becuz, sora's heart was in his body,..

kairi's heart was not in her body so it didnt create a heartless

..i dunno..

i think when he unloked his heart the darkness from hallow bastion got in or sumthin.......

Sora turned into a Heartless to release Kairi's heart from inside him by stabbing himself with the Heart Unlocker, a Keyblade that can unlock any heart, while releasing Kairi's heart, releasing the other 6 PoH's hearts from the Keyblade and his own heart as well. Sora still lost his heart. It's a Heart Unlocker, so it would release his heart too, turning him into a Heartless. Him freeing Kairi's heart =/= still keeping his heart.

Okay this is what I believe happens, when you unlock a heart you allow the darkness to enter but also allow anything in the heart to be released with no problem that is why Sora became a heartless and Kairi's heart was released. That is what happened to malificant more darkness was able to enter her heart which gave her the strength to fight Sora even further and the the Darkness eventually took her Heart. I think that is what happens because when the door to the heart of any world is unlocked the darkness is allowed to enter it as long as they can find the heart and allows any one and anything to leave like Sora, kair and Riku their Island.

Maleficent never became a Heartless from that process.
Sora on the other hand became a Heartless, and his Body became a Nobody, hence why Kairi's Heart was rejected, what with her own B+S being so close by and belonging to a PoH and all.

She never turned to a heartless but Asem in Riku's body said "she failed to notice the darkness in her heart eating away at her". Yes she had darkness eating away even before her heart was unlocked but i think it was the heart being unlocked that allowed the heart to be taken by the darkness. And she could have had a heartless but she became a live again in the second kingdom hearts. Sora's heartless was was not formed at the spot that he was standing like in the scene in traverse town when the boy had his heart taken by the darkness. Which leave the possibility of heartless being born somewhere else besides the point at which the heart was taken by darkness. After Sora lost his heart ansem appeared an he summoned the heartless which just happened to have Sora's heartless mixed in with them.

I just watched the scene when she gets stabbed in the heart by the keyblade and ansem says " open your heart surrender it to the darkness!". Which proves my point of the heart being taken over by darkness when it is unlocked. And what happens when a heart get taken over by darkness yes a heartless is born.

lol i always thought kairi didnt have a heartless because she was a PoH (wich dont have any darkness in their hearts , if im right...)

Maleficent's dragon form isn't her Heartless form.

As for Kairi, her being a PoH is the reason why she never had a Heartless, for the reasons you said, nisselox.

i did not mean she turned into a heartless when she turned into a dragon. wat i mean is that their was an opportunity of maleficent having a heartless after Sora defeated her. But of course that did not happen because she appeared in KH 2. The point i really wanted to get across was that when a heart is unlocked thing are able to go in and out like darkness.

now, i get it.!! if someone stabbed you you with the heart unlocker, your heart will be released..

..making you vulnerable to darkenss or becoming a heartless [ unless you're a PoH ]..

..

but what if Kairi was not a PoH? ..would it create two heartless.??
