Unofficial translation from Japanese in progress!!!!

Trangen group is making an English translation of KH RE:CoM.
Please express your support or if you can help in anyway, say it in the forums there.

The project has just started, but it's very promising!

Spread the word in other KH forums, with little luck maybe there's somewhere another person able to speak English and Japanese with enough computer knowledge and ready to help.

Same, here. Anyone got an explanation on how exactly they plan to implement the translations?

@Agent007: If you mean changing the positions of cards inside your deck, then you just have to use the triangle button to do so, just like you would use the A button on the GBA.

I guess you have to back up the game with dvd decrypter and then add a file to it. I cant find detailed instructions though. Arggh this sucks. I'd love to do it but the directions are not that clear. Here they are

Here comes a "partial translation" of this great action-rpg game!
This is a list of the things that this patch translates:

-Game menu "Deck menu options and features"
-Some system messages "Mostly save and load menu,and other messages"
-Cards Names "All kind of cards: world,abilities and items"
-Location display
-Level up screen
-Display of skills (dual/triple) in combat


And this is what is not translated:

-Dialogue script
-Events
-Tutorial
-Special card/list display messages

FAQ

Q-The menu display is a bit out of the boxes,what happened!?
A-The game is in need of a VWF hack (Variable width font hack),but right now,
we haven't got anyone in our time with asm knowledge,so we can't insert
that hack into the game.

Q-Why do you have released only a partial translation instead of
a full translation?
A-There are lotsa of problems that this game has,like the False Toc that
prevent us from extract and insert the game's files.No one has coded a tool
capable to handle square-enix's false TOC trick.And also we're lacking translators right now.

Q-Why some letters like the "g,q and p" are so horrible!?
A-Blame the programmers,they had terrible draw abilities,my god...

Well what this does is translate the menu in the actual game. It's not a guide. Alright I made an ISO with MagicISO and now I am going to try the game out. We'll see what happens!!

How are we supposed to get the translations into the game? I have KHII:FM+, but I don't understand..

just make a backup of re:com w/ MagicISO, get PP OMatic and the file at transgen's site. Then aply the patch to the game and burn it!
