i was just wandering if the moogle cheat for chain of memories gba works for re chain of memories (ps2)

No. You would have to get a Re:CoM version of it for your Codebreaker, Action Replay, or Gameshark. If you dont mean actual codes, then i dunno.

Yeah either get Action Replay or Gameshark.
